Adria entered the girls toilets with Charlotte, where I was moping up inky tears with a piece of toilet roll. "What was that outburst all about?" Asked Charlotte.
"I..." I didn't want to talk.
"You?" Adria questioned.

They must be filled with worry. Their friend (and sister) had been in an accident, then she'd been in a coma, whilst her father was dying, she'd woken up with amnesia, returned to school, had a breakdown and what they didn't know, was that she then discovered her boyfriend cheating on her with her supposed friend.

"I saw Danielle and Chase kissing," I sighed. There was no point concealing the truth.

Charlotte hugged me. Usually when two humans hug it is a celebration or full of love. This was a full of love hug, it was an I'm sorry he did that hug. It was full of support and care.

Meanwhile Adria had the complete opposite reaction, her face grew red as a tomato, not of embarrassment but if anger. Then she shook her head, muttered something under her breath and she stormed out.

Charlotte and I trailed slowly behind her, trying to observe what she was about to do.

Her eyes scanned the crowds of high schoolers and then stopped. Squinting just to make sure. Then she progressed forwards, gritting her teeth.

She grabbed Chase's shirt and pulled him closer to her. "How dare you," she snarled, "after all the years I've known you, after all that time, I thought you'd at least give two damns about Vienna."

He struggled, then pulled himself out of her grasp. Looked shamefully away. Hoping she wouldn't carry on, but she did.
"Does she mean nothing to you?!" She screamed at him, "look at me you cowardly boy!"

"Adria..." I quietly said. "Let go..."
Everyone fell silent. I didn't mean let go, literally, he had already managed to escape her grasp. I meant emotionally. She will always have the good memories of him. Memories of me and him.

I will only have this memory. This, horrible, unfortunate, memory.

So she backed away and so did all my friends, desperate to discover what had happened in more detail. Danielle leaned in to kiss him, as if she was celebrating. He pushed her back angrily, a vicious expression strewn upon his face. "Danielle, I don't know what you think you're doing, I really loved her..." He trailed off.
