My eyelids snapped open to blinding light, white walls and random people surrounding the bed I was sprawled out upon. Confusion, dizziness and frustration reigned over me as I attempted to figure out what was occurring.
Had some people entered the wrong room? I was still unsure of where I was, yet I was quite sure I was inside a hospital room, due to the white walls and floor.
I squinted at one particular woman, who was assuring someone I was alright through her telephone. She was talking extremely quickly, before telling them she must go and hung up before they could even reply.
"Sweetie" the woman cooed while stroking my hair. I struggled away a little. "You can get changed and come home soon, don't worry."
Trust me, love, the only thing I should be worried about is who you are.
Barely moving my mouth I asked: "who are you all?..".

This started out life as a teen-fic book, then it turned to mystery and a little bit of horror. So sometimes you may think 'how is this teen fiction?'.

Me: HEY COME BACK!
Disappointed horror reader: WHAT?! HAVE YOU PUT IN AN AXE MURDERER?! (Grins evilly)
Me: I could do a bit of horror and crime...
Crime reader: I heard the word crime and jumped strait in the police car!
Me: look you'll both have to read to find out-
Teen fiction reader: what about me? (Makes sad face and does puppy dog eyes)
Me: if you read it you will all find aspects of your preferred genre, okay?
Disappointed horror reader, crime reader & teen fiction reader: fine.
