Slowly I backed down off the table and returned to my seat. Anxiety was crushing me. 'Nat's' little game was becoming too much to bear. So I did the only other thing I felt I could. I fled.

I ran toward the girls toilets, tears falling. I was sprinting. My friends coming from the cafeteria. Trying to support me. Shouting, trying to get me to come back.

I pushed open the weighted door of the girls loos and locked myself in a cubicle. I whipped my phone out my pocket and read the last text from Nat.

'You've made the biggest mistake of your life'

'Tell me who you are, NOW.' I typed viciously.

'Why should I?"

"Haven't you done enough, tell me who you are."

"I'm so sorry that spoilt Vienna cannot get her own way. No."

I paused, then mentally face palmed. It only just occurred to me all this time I could've blocked Nat. Or would've that meant the secret would've been revealed. Whatever.

"You have nothing on me, but whatever you do, I can go to the police and they can find out who you are. Tell me."

"You have no idea how often I can switch my phone, Vi."

"Leave me alone."

"Never..."

I put my phone away, opened the cubicle, mopped my tears and walked out as if nothing had happened. All I needed to do was move on and the sooner the better.

I returned to the cafeteria, where the ordinary noise of humans hit the back of the hall and I sat down as if I had an ordinary life.
