Hannah had cried on the way to the airport. Between sobs she told me the story of how they met.
Monday.
Matt was a new student, rumours were he'd been expelled from his old one. Hannah was late, as usual and noticed an unfamiliar kid at the other end of the empty corridor. "Are you lost?"
The kid scrunched up his nose and looked up from his timetable. "I um... Could be." He laughed confidently.
Hannah shyly looked away, "where are you supposed to be?"
"Where are you supposed to be?"
"Excuse me?"
"Well I doubt roaming the halls is a lesson..."
"I'm supposed to be at math, but I hate it."
"You're ditching?"
"I'm just mentally preparing myself."
"You won't be mentally prepared for a job if you don't get to your lesson, where is it?"
"Just there." She pointed to the other end of the corridor.
"Let me walk you there."Once they ended their short walk, Hannah stopped before she was visible to the teacher or any students in her lesson.
"So..." He grinned.
"I thought I was supposed to be helping you!" Hannah exclaimed.
"There is one other way you could help me," he closed his eyes and leaned in.I held Hannah in my arms, the taxi man looked as if he had a blinding headache. We arrived shortly at the airport and I paid the taxi man. We sorted our bags, got past security and waited.
Hannah had eventually stopped crying."Show me Matt's phone number?" Hannah passed her phone over after doing the code.
I pressed on his contact. I had pretty much memorized the number.Matt was Nat.
I know it was pretty obvious but... Just incase you didn't get it. 😛
