~...you ain't never have a bitch understand you, most of them wanna use you when they ran through...~

"Yo, Bryson! My nigga," a voice laughed from in the door way of my bedroom as I picked my hair out in the dresser mirror.

I turned around to see Eric there leaning against the door frame. I smiled causing him to grin back.

"Little brother," I mocked dapping him up.

"Damn, bro it's been a minute," he sighed laying on my clean, made-up bedsheets," How's shit been? You don't call much."

"Yeah, I got to do better with that," I admitted," Things have been straight though."

"Uncle Eric!" Harley screamed running into the room with her arms stretched out for a hug from him. Eric picked her up and began to tickle her.

"Harley Marley!"

"I missed you," Harley smiled.

"Really!? Cause I was thinking the same thing," Eric gasped.

"You're my favorite Uncle," Harley told him with her hands on her small hips.

Eric looked confused," I'm your only uncle."

Before storming back off into the living room to watch Peppa Pig, Harley nodded and said," I know. That's why you're my favorite."

"She acts like you," Eric laughed.

"You think so?" I ask brushing my sides.

Eric nodded," Yeah, sneaky and quirky. She always has that sly look on her face like you. Got me thinking that I should have a kid."

"Don't," I shook my head," not that's it's bad, cause I love Harls and all, but having one being as young as you are takes a toll on  you. I mean you're just now 20. You saw me struggle and deal with the bullshit from Marlena's mom. It's no walk in the park, E, and I wish someone would've told me that before I smashed."

Eric shrugged,"Just a thought man. Not too serious, but it looks like you're headed out."

I nod," Yeah, just for a bit."

"On a date?"

"You ask more questions than you're curious niece," I laugh.

Eric scratched the back of his head," Wondering if it's possible if maybe I can follow along and find out where the hoes at."

"Ain't no hoes little boy and you're not coming. You did enough of following me around when we were kids."

"You sound mad," Eric smirked," but I'll be here when you get back."

"Good," I say before sliding my hat on with a P in the middle of it," when I get back, be prepared for a video game session."

"You like scary movies?" Naomi asked me.

"Of course. I might jump, but...yeah."

"Then we could see the Purge. Unless you want to see something else..."
