~...I've got to right my wrongs...~
"Aww, Bryson. These are gorgeous," Naomi cooed accepting the dozen of white roses I had bought for her.
Hopefully, they are able to lighten up the mood I'm about to ruin.
"I was hoping you'd like them," I coughed into my fist as she let me in her home," I figured red was too predictable."
"Either way they're stunning. Sit tight while I go put these in water," Naomi smiled kissing me on my cheek.
She ran off into the kitchen while I took a seat on her leather sofa and waited for her to return.
I was nervous.
I don't think I've ever been as anxious as I am right now when it came to Naomi.
I didn't want for tonight to go in the wrong direction. Especially with her looking so damn good in those tight, black yoga pants she wore.
All I wanted to do was fuck the life out of her because I had missed her so much.
"Thirsty?" She asked from in the kitchen.
"Uh nah. I'm cool," I refused.
Naomi shrugged and grabbed herself a bottle of cool water out the fridge before coming over to sit beside me.
"How was everything in Atlanta? I know we've talked on the phone, but I'd rather know in person," she questioned," I love to see your face."
You won't feel that way for long, I thought.
"I was so busy that I barely got any shut eye," I groaned rubbing my face," I missed seeing you too. After all, we've been together almost everyday since I've been here."
"The feeling is mutual," Naomi sat criss-crossed facing me.
"Harley wanted to come with me to see you, but I told her I'd bring her by another time."
"I would've loved to see her. I missed her just as much," Naomi awed,"How did you do?"
"How did I do what?" I asked stupidly.
My mind was elsewhere.
I was more so focused on how to procrastinate telling her than actually listening to what she had to say.
"How did you do at your show? In Atlanta. Ring a bell?"
"Oh," I uttered," The show was a success. Every time I do a show, more and more people are coming out. That only adds to the pressure of me putting out this new music as soon as I can. I met Jasmine Sullivan. She came to my set."
"I can picture you acting all star struck with her now," Naomi laughed playing in my hair," I'm sure your fans can't wait to hear the new music, though. I mean it's you."
I laid my head back against her chest.
I smirked at her words.
I don't really like people touching me.
My hair in particular, but I never seemed to mind when Naomi did it.
It was just...different.
