~...just be honest, girl what you want from me...~

"Harley," I called her name from in my bedroom.

I was adjusting my toy sword on the side of my khaki pants. I had dressed as Prince Phillip to match Harley since she was Sleeping Beauty. For some reason she didn't want to be Cinderella, but I didn't mind. Her birthday, her choice.

Harley skipped in the door way and gasped when she saw me.

"How do I look?" I asked with a smile.

"Prince Daddy," she giggled," How do I look?"

I scooped her up on my hip," Like a pretty princess."

I winked at her.

Harley squished my cheeks together," I'm four now."

"I know. You're getting to big on me. You're going to make Daddy cry."

"Why?" She asked concerned.

"Cause you're going to be going to kindergarten and you're becoming such a big girl," I fake cried in her shoulder," You're going to stop thinking I'm cool and you're not going to need me anymore in a while."

"No," Harley shook her head hugging my neck," I love you Daddy. You're the bestest ever."

"Glad you think so," I said pecking her cheek several times before letting her down.

"What do you think?" Grandma Ann asked sashaying into the room.

I laughed at her once I noticed she was dressed like a fairy godmother.

"Pretty," Harley sang.

Grandma Ann smiled at us," This would be a cute picture."

Grandma went to go get her camera.
When she returned with it, she ordered us to say cheese. We smiled as she snapped a hundred photos of us together.

"Happy Birthday Harley Marley," grandma sang.

"Aye!" Eric's voiced yelled as he came inside the house.

We all left out the room and followed him in the kitchen. He had come as a prince to, but he didn't have a crown like me.

Eric set the box that held the cake down on the kitchen table. I had asked him to go pick it up for me and he came through.

"Did somebody order a Disney princess cake?" He asked tickling Harley as he unveiled what it looked like.

All the Disney princesses were drawn on it in icing and at the top it read Happy Birthday Princess Harley.

"Do you like it?" I asked her.

"Yes," Harley jumped for joy reaching for it, but I pulled her tiny hand back.

"Wait till all of your guest come," I laughed.

"When are they coming?" Harley whined," I want cake now."

"Soon," Grandma told her giving her a hug.

Just then a knock came from the front door. Harley got up to go answer as I watched.
