~...I know you failed me though--ooh, girl I saw this coming--don't wanna act all nonchalant that would mean, that everything we talked about was all for nothing...~

Naomi's POV

"B-Bryson," I stuttered as he stood there in grey sweats, a white tee, and a Trapsoul hat--leaning against the doorway.

It was 11:16 p.m. and I wasn't expecting any company.

Especially his...

"Hey," I took a deep breath.

He blankly stared at me with his hands behind his back.

"W-what's up?"

"I figured you could answer that for me. Can I come in?" He asked sucking his teeth.

I nodded moving away from the door so he could come inside.

"Yeah, y-yeah sure."

I was nervous and it was obvious why.

I had done wrong by Bryson.

Him being here right now made me think that he knows what I did.

I closed the door once we were both inside.

"How's it go--?" I began to ask when the loud thud of a thick magazine hit my coffee table.

Bryson had his back turned to me.

Damn, I thought once I saw the cover of it labeled XXL and spotted his name on it.

For a moment, it was silent between us filled with lots and lots of tension.

"What the fuck is this?" He asked with a raspy voice.

His back was still turned.

"Bryson, you've got to let me explain," I begged walking closer to him.

"Let you explain?" He sneered turning around,"Explain what, Naomi!? How you stabbed me in the back?"

"No, it wasn't like that. I was going to tell you," I replied.

"No you weren't."

"I never meant to hurt you or anyone else. That wasn't my intentions," I shook my head.

"It's too late for that I'm already hurt," Bryson raged.

Not once had he looked me in my eyes.

"If not, then what the hell was your intentions?"

To get back at you.

I fumbled with my words.

I didn't know what exactly were my motives--the rational ones at least.

"Oh, so now you're speechless?" He asked with a light chuckle," That's mighty funny considering the fact that you sure had a lot of shit to say about me in that damn magazine."
