~...and this right here got my mind confusing...~

"I want the Atlanta show," I told Stephanie over the phone.

"Awesome. Glad you made you're decision early."

"As long as you can get someone to watch Harley in the hotel that night, I'll do it," I said grabbing a rubber band.

"Sitter for Harley? No problem. I'm on it," Steph assured. "Anything else?"

"That's all I can think of."

"Well we will go down to Lexington later on this week for your other gig and the next week we will be in the A."

"Sounds good,"I nodded as I continued to braid Harley's hair in two.

Harley kept fidgeting making it harder on me.

"Talk to you later, Bryson," she hung up.

"Daddy..."

"Yes?"

"You're hurting me," Harley complained as I stopped to put on my glasses.

I had lost one of my last contacts this morning in the bathroom so I was forced to resort to this. I didn't really care for wearing them.

"I'm sorry. It wouldn't hurt so much if you'd be still."

"I want Naomi to do my hair," she whined.

"Naomi isn't here," I reminded.

"But she said she'd do it!" Harley crossed her arms and pouted.

I rolled my eyes.

Certified Drama Queen.

"Maybe one day she will, when she can."

"Bryson," Eric said walking in the room," tell grandma that I came by to drop off her package."

"Sure," I shrugged.

"Hey babygirl," he waved at Harley.

"Hi Uncle Eric," Harley waved back with an attitude still because of me.

"I'll catch y'all later," Eric chucked up the deuces as he left.

"Can we call mommy?" Harley asked.

"Umm..." I groaned trying to find a practical reason to say no.

"Please," Harley begged as she turned around and squished my cheeks together.

I pulled my phone back out and dialed the number now saved in my phone as Biggest L of my life.

I handed the phone to Harley as it began to ring. I wanted to avoid her as much as I could. I know I sound petty, but you wouldn't understand unless you were me.

"Mommy!" Harley cheesed as she answered the call.

"I'm having fun," Harley mentioned," Daddy just finished doing my hair....no....he just left....Daddy's taking me to go get my nails done later."
