"Hey Shelby, whatcha up to?" Eric asked me as he sat next to me in the dining room.
"Just doing some last minute studying before finals. What's up with you?" I asked him and he smiled.
"Can you come with me for a second?" Eric asked me and I just looked at him.
"Fine, where are we going?" I asked him as I closed the chemistry book.
"Follow me." Eric said and he led me to Nathan's room and he opened the door for me and pushed me in and I stumbled but someone caught me.
I looked up to see Nathan.
"You didn't need to push me!" I said and he smiled.
"Hey."
"Hi." I said and he smiled.
"So why did I get pushed in here?" I asked him and he smiled and handed me a box.
"What is this?" I asked him and he shrugged.
It was a wooden box with a bunch of roses engraved on it and I smiled and opened it. It was a music box filled with chocolate, a card, and a piece of paper.
I flipped the piece of paper over to see a drawing and it was a couple that looked like us.
"Don't read the note yet, it's only when your alone." Nathan said and I nodded and hugged him.
"Thank you so much." I said and he smiled and hugged me.
"Derek drew the picture for us." Nathan said and I admired the picture and kissed his cheek.
"Now you better leave my room before my parents think we're doing something bad in here." Nathan said and I laughed and kissed him and he kissed back.
"Thank you." I said and then left the room and went into my room to read the note.
I got comfortable on my bed and set the box down and opened the card.
Hi Shelby,
If you're reading this then I must've gotten the courage to give you the music box. The music box is special to me because it was my sister's. Yeah, I had a twin sister but she passed away at the age of 8 due to a brain tumor. Her name was Riley and I think she sent me you in return of her death.
