"This is the lunchroom, aka high school hell." I explained as we entered the room.
"Doesn't look so bad?" Gabe questioned and I chuckled.
"Just stay away from the left of the room because that's the "popular side" and on the right because that's where all the drugs are dealt and stuff." I explained and he smirked.
"Better go over to the right." Gabe said with sarcasm dripping down every single word.
"I hate you..." I said and he gave me a little side hug and we walked over to the lunch line.

NATHAN'S POV-
I saw Shelby walk in with some guy and they started to talk and she chuckled a little. I missed her smile... Shelby then gave him a hug and that kicked my jealousy in."Who's that guy talking to Shelby? I've never seen him before." I said to my table.
"His name is Holler, Gabe Holler." Josh said and I looked back over to the line.
"He's joining the soccer team this season and apparently he has decent grades." Jasmine said and I scoffed.
"He's joining my team?" I asked.
"Nate, it's not only your team." Carson said and I shook my head.
"Carson, I know but I'm captain and it's my duty to keep the pests out." I said with a glare.
Shelby turned and we locked eyes and she just looked at me confused and I rolled my eyes and turned back to my table.

SHELBY'S POV-
"Did he just roll his eyes at me?" I asked Madie and she rolled her eyes."Come on Shelbs, just keep walking." Gabe said and I nodded and continued walking.
The three of us made it to our table and I sat down in the middle. We started talking about what Gabe needed to know about the social life at our school.
"If it isn't the one and only Shelby Wilson." I heard someone say and I turned around to see Tiffany with a smirk.
"Tiffany, I honestly am having a good day today so I would very much appreciate if you wouldn't be a bitch for once in your life." I said to her and she just glared at me.
"I don't think your friend over here would like you speaking to me like that. Would you, Gabe?" Tiffany tried to flirt.
"I'm fine, thanks though." Gabe said and took a bite of his sandwich and I smiled.
"Tiffany, if you're just here to piss off Shelby and also your little boyfriend than I advise you to leave before I beat your ass. Oh wait... you don't have an ass." Madie said and I laughed with Gabe.
"What's going on over here?" I heard someone say behind us and I turned to see Nathan standing there with his little posse.
"Nate... Shelby is being very rude to me." Tiffany said and did an awkward waddle run towards him and I scoffed.
"Okay... I officially think you've gone bat shit crazy because you always walk up to me to cause shit. If you didn't try to piss me off than I wouldn't have the urge to punch you in the face. So you and your little Prince Charming can go somewhere else because I was actually having a decent day until you spoiled it." I said and sat down and took a bite of my celery stick.
"Guys, go back to the table." Nate said and they nodded and headed back but Tiffany stood by Nate's side.
"Tiff..." Nate said and she frowned and started walking.
"See Tiffany, no one wants you here!" Madie said and sat back down and I smiled to myself.
"So you think this is funny?" Nate asked me and I turned to him.
"Yeah I do think it's funny, you know why because everyday I have to deal with your crazy ass girlfriend pestering me because of you. I would like to go one day, one fucking day where your little posse would leave me the hell alone. Ever since you broke up with me they show up everywhere, they won't leave me alone. I get that you're happy seeing me miserable but do you have to do it every day of my life?! Can't you just leave me alone?!" I said with tears streaming down my face. I turned around and ran out of the cafeteria.
"Shelby!" I heard Gabe and Madie yell out but I just ran.

MADIE'S POV-
Shelby ran out of the cafeteria and I knew she was tired of everyone and everything that's been going on."Nathan, it's the best thing for everyone if you would just leave the poor girl alone." I said, my heart was breaking for her.
"Hey Madie, I'm gonna go try to find her." Gabe said and I nodded as he ran out of the cafeteria.
"I didn't know that my group was causing her that much pain..." Nate said as he sat down.
"You have no idea how much hell she's going through right now. They won't leave her alone and you don't know how much Shelby just wants some peace and quiet for one day of her junior year." I said to him and he sighed.
"Well, Natalie already told me to leave Shelby alone and if she found out I was talking to her than she would beat my ass but if she finds out that I've caused her this much pain I'm gonna get murdered..."
"I think it's best for all of us if you just didn't talk to her now. But I want you to tell your little friends to leave her the hell alone if you don't want to hurt Shelby anymore than you've already had." I said and he nodded slowly.
"Yeah... I get it."
"Nate... I hope you know it's the right thing for everyone and if you don't do this than you're hurting Shelby even more." I said as I stood up.
"Just... tell her I'm sorry... I'm sorry for all the pain I've caused her." Nate said and walked away.
It's for the best.
