"Knock knock." Nate said as he knocked on my door that was open.
"Hey..." I said as I folded a shirt and put it into my suitcase.
"So, you're leaving..." Nate said.
"Come sit, I need to talk to you." I said as I patted my bed.
He sat down and I put the suitcase onto the floor and sat next to him.
"Just because I'm leaving doesn't mean we're breaking up. I'm in the next neighborhood and plus we go to the same school. We're still dating, nothing changes just because I move out." I said to him and kissed his cheek.
"Why do you have to leave?" Nate looked at me with eyes filled with sadness.
"Natalie needs me right now, she needs help with Cole and she needs someone to mourn with. Will is her husband but I'm her sister, she needs me more than anyone." I said as I got up from my bed.
"Why can't you stay with me..." Nate asked me.
"Nate, I need my sister and she needs me right now." I said as I picked up my suitcase.
"I'll leave you to pack." Nate said.
"You can't be mad at me for leaving." I scoffed.
"Maybe, I am." Nate said then stormed out of my room.
I sat on my bed and put my head into my hands. Why is this happening to me right now...

"Is he seriously not gonna come down to say goodbye?" Eric asked."It's his choice, let him be." I said and he sighed.
"Bye Shelby, stay safe and I hope we can catch up soon." Eric said and hugged me.
"Have fun in college, tell Nicole hi for me." I said and he nodded.
"Bye little sis, I'll miss you." Luke said and hugged me.
"Bye big bro, you stay safe at college and don't get into trouble. Tell Samantha I say hi." I said and he nodded and hugged me. Luke and I have gotten so much closer and he's probably the closest I've gotten with except for Nate. He's also told me about his new girly friend Samantha, I've talked to her a couple times and she seems nice.
"I will, bye kiddo." Luke said and I hugged him one last time.
"Bye Trey, see you in school?" I asked him and he nodded.
"Thanks for getting me out of that Sienna situation." Trey said.
"She's a little female dog, I had to get you out of that." I said and he hugged me.
"Derek! My little brother!" I said as I hugged Derek.
"Bye big sis, I'll miss you." Derek said and hugged me back.
"Remember to keep doing what you love cause you're so talented. Invite me to any event you have to showcase anything." I said.
"I will, thanks for helping me realize how much I love acting, singing, and drawing." Derek said.
"Anytime kiddo, enjoy your time with Bailey too." I said.
"I will, don't worry." Derek said and I ruffled his hair.
"Don't leave me!" Ben said and grabbed my leg.
"I'll miss you so much, little man." I said and hugged him.
"Why can't you stay?" Ben said and a tear trickled down his face.
"I'll come and visit, so don't cry." I said and he sniffled as I wiped away his tears.
"Promise?" Ben asked as he held out his pinky.
"Promise." I told Ben and made a pinky promise with him.
"Come here sweetheart." Marcy said and she hugged me.
"Thank you for everything Marcy..." I said as I held back my tears.
"Anytime darling, you're like a daughter to me and you're welcome here anytime." Marcy said and I nodded.
"Thank you for everything, I really do appreciate it." I told her and she smiled.
"I should get going..." I said as I grabbed my suitcase and duffle bag.
"That little douche nugget.." Trey mumbled as they followed me outside.
"I know right..." Eric mumbled.
"It's okay guys, if this is what he wants then it's his choice and I can't control that." I said to them.
"Shelby, we know that but this just isn't right." Luke said to me.
"Hey, it's okay. I just don't know if that means he broke up with me tho..." I said with a sigh.
"We'll talk to him later and I'll text you later." Luke said and I nodded and opened my trunk.
I tossed my bags into the trunk and then closed it then gave everyone another hug before I got into the car.
I took extra longer just to see if Nate would come out but he didn't so I got in my car and drove off.

ERIC'S POV-
After Shelby drove off Luke, Trey, and I sprinted upstairs to Nate's room and we broke down the door."What the hell is wrong with you?" I asked as I saw Nathan typing away on his computer.
"You don't even come outside to say goodbye to Shelby?" Luke yelled.
"I'll see her at school, chill." Nate said.
"This isn't about seeing her at school, it's about seeing your now ex- girlfriend before she leaves." My voice boomed and he wasn't paying attention so I turned off his monitor.
"You're an asshole, I hope you know that." Trey said and walked out of the room.
"This a low, even for you Nate." Luke said and walked out.
"Wake the fuck up Nathan, you need to stop screwing around." I said and walked out and into the kitchen.
"Mom, you're not listening to us! Go talk to him, this isn't teaching him anything!" Luke yelled.
"Luke, calm down. I'm planning on having a sit down conversation with him when your dad comes home. So just go into the living room and settle down." My mom said and Luke sighed and went to the living room with Trey.
"You better get his head straight." I said and went into the living room.
"Hey Shelb..." Luke said and I looked to see him FaceTiming her.
"Hey guys, what's up?" Shelby asked us as she set us up onto her dresser.
"We talked to the asshole..." Trey said and Shelby looked up from the floor.
"He just completely ignored us, I think he broke up with you..." Luke said.
"Oh..." Shelby said with a hurt face and I looked away cause I couldn't see her right now. It hurt cause I felt like her big brother and she's getting hurt by my little brother.
"Meet us at the diner in 10, I'll buy you some dinner." I said and she nodded.
"Okay, I'll talk to you guys in a bit." Shelby said.
"Bye Shelb." Luke said and hung up.
"She's so hurt..." Trey said.
"Let's go guys, Derek!" I yelled.
"Yeah?" Derek asked as he came running upstairs.
"Come on, we're going to go meet Shelby for dinner." I said.
"Why?" Derek asked.
"She's hurting right now..." Luke said.
"Explain in the car, I'll grab my jacket real quick." Derek said then ran downstairs.
Time to go help an emotional teenage girl out.
