12:34 p.m. June 20th

I looked up to see a girl who looked my age staring down at me. I wiped my eyes with me hands and then she spoke.

"Hey," she spoke cautiously, "I saw you crying and thought I'd come over and ask, are you okay?"

"No." I said and I continued to cry.

"I'm sorry," she said, "I know I'm a complete stranger, but would it help to talk about it?"

"I d-dont know." I stuttered, "maybe."

I hadn't talked to anyone in a long time, it was good to feel like someone cared about me.

"Okay," she said sounding a little surprised "well what's going on?"

"It's kind of a long story," I looked down, "you probably don't want to hear about it."

"I do," she said looking into my eyes and that's when I realized this girl had beautiful eyes, they were gray with a hint of blue and they went so well with her freckles. Damn why can't I be this girl? I thought. Then she spoke again,

"Please tell me, I don't know why but I saw you crying and I want to be there for you."

I just sighed a simple "okay" and told her everything.

When I finished telling her she simply said "I'm so sorry." and hugged me, she looked like she was about to cry almost.

"Hey," she said "I know that everything sucks right now, but things will get better. It's okay to be sad, it's okay to cry, but hurting yourself over this isn't okay."

"I know you're sad." she said and looked up at me. "But I know this amazing little bakery super close to here," I looked at the time a little bit hesitant, it was only around one.

"I don't know." I said slowly, "I'm not really hungry."

"Seriously?" she asked, "Come on, I can see it in your eyes." she laughed and it made me laugh for the first time in a long time.

This girl had the kind of laugh that makes you smile, and the kind of smile that could convince you of anything.

"When was the last time you ate?" she asked me, now serious.

I looked down, "A little over a week ago." I said shyly thinking she would judge me.

"Okay now we have to go." she said, "Do you have a car?" she asked me, "I walked here, I don't live far."

I replied with yes and let her drive us to the bakery.
