Five or so years later
Cassidy's POV
7:32 a.m. September 1st

"Hey Cass, you should go get him up, you don't want him to be late on his first day." Bailey said handing me a cup of coffee.

I bent down to kiss my son, "Tyler," I spoke slowly to wake him gently. "Time to get up, you don't want to miss your first day of kindergarten!"

He yawned and the agreed to get up.

He was just like Tyler, named after him too.
He had the same eyes. Every time I look at him I see more of Tyler in him. He didn't say much, but when he did it was beautiful, sometimes he sounded older than he was.

I went back to the kitchen, and I was met with Tyler eating breakfast Bailey had made him, and making sure he had everything he needed for his first day of school.

We got in the car a few minutes later to drive him over.

"Hey buddy, you excited?" Bailey asked him, he just smiled and nodded while looking out the window.

When we got out of the car we brought him to his class. I didn't want to let him go.

I kneeled down so I was at eye level with my baby.

"Have a good day Ty," I smiled trying not to cry. "I love you." I told him and kissed him on the head.

I hugged him and he whispered,
"I love you too mom."
