chapter twenty two

{Cassidy's POV}

8:34 p.m. July 8th

Bailey was asleep in the passenger seat as I drove.

She was so beautiful even in her sleep.
I wasn't happy she didn't tell me about what she was going though, but I'll always be here for her.

I stared into the darkness in front of me and thinking about my future with this girl.

After I lost Tyler I believed my life was over, that he was the only change at happiness I ever got.

The brunette girl asleep to my right was the only reassurance I needed that I was wrong.

Her.
Bailey.
She was my future.

I pulled into my driveway a little before nine and slowly helped Bailey, (who was still half asleep,) out of the car and up to my room.

I went back downstairs to lock my car and the house. When I realized that my family was home, and how long it had been since I had seen them.

Well I would introduce Bailey tomorrow if they weren't still shunning me.

When I got back up to my room Bailey was on one side of my bad asleep. I walked over and laid down facing her. I pulled the covers over both of us and wished for that moment to never end.
