Me Without You

chapter sixteen

9:58 a.m. June 22nd

I woke up and checked the time immediately, knowing Bailey was coming over at noon.

I did my makeup lightly, but still defined, and through on the outfit I picked out yesterday.

I was so excited to see her.

I made myself breakfast and eagerly waited her arrival.

She came a few minutes after 12 and we talked in my room. That led to us going through my clothes and deciding at around 2 that we needed to go shopping.

We drove in her car to the mall and went to a few stores before picking out clothes we liked.

We walked around the store and in a few minutes, I handed Bailey a pair of ripped jeans and a crop top. She handed me a black skirt and a grey shirt. We found a fitting room and went in together laughing.

As we both started undressing my eyes wandered to her body in the mirror.

"Wow" I muttered under my breath.

"What?" She said turning around.

"Nothing," I stated, "I didn't say anything."

We finished shopping around 7 and left the mall with multiple bags in each hand. We went back to my house and ordered a pizza.

We watched a movie then laid on the floor of my bedroom talking for hours.

I checked my phone and the time read 12:34 a.m.

"Wow." I said. "It's all ready half past twelve." She looked up sad.

"Aw." she said looking back at me.

"I guess that means you should get going?" I asked.

She looked back at me, a mysterious grin across her face. "Do I have to?" she asked.

"No," I smiled, "I guess not."

She laughed and fell back to the floor smiling. We talked for a while longer and then fell asleep like that.
