9:12 a.m. July 10th
I picked up my phone, hands shaking to call Bailey.
"Hey Cass, what's up?" She said when she picked up.
"Bailey do you think you can come over?" I asked cautiously.
"Uh sure," She answered sounding confused. "What for?"
"Well I need to tell you something,"
"And it's important." I added and hung up. Scared she would ask for more details.
I waited in my living room considering no one was home, since no one ever was.
What would happen when she got here?
How would she react?
Would she be okay with all of this?
Or would she leave?
I didn't want her to leave. I needed her.
I paced around my kitchen and decided to make some coffee. I was halfway through making the coffee, when I heard a knock on the door.
She was here.
This was it, I thought as I walked to the door trying to keep my breathing steady.
"Hey Cass," She said when I answered the door. "What's wrong?"
She wasn't smiling like she usually is, her short hair was a mess, she looked extremely concerned.
"C-Come in,." I stuttered and turned to the kitchen to finish making coffee.
When it's done I hand her a mug and lead her toward the living room. We sit and she says,
"Cassidy, what is going on?"
I stare down at my coffee and take a deep breath.
"Bailey, I'm pregnant."
