Chapter 23: My Real Name

Sky's P.O.V
"There you go." A voice said. That sounds like...a girl. I hear someone laughing. The ground changes and it's snow. I hear more laughing. I turn around. I see a little girl and a little boy. And the little boy looks a little like me. There's the Nether portal. It's not too far away. A snowball flies through me and hits the little girl.

"Oh your so done." She said.

"Am I?" The boy asks. I look at them. Are these...memories? My memories. She throws the snowball and the boy dodges it. "Miss me sis."

"Sis." I said quietly. I look at the girl. She seems a little familiar. But not much. The girl suddenly gasps.

"They're coming." She said. She runs and grabs the boy's hand. The starts running as horses with men on them appear. I'm so confused. I had a sister? I run towards where the little kids did. I get a better look at her. She is talking to little me. My eyes widen.

"Sofie." I said.

Kyra's P.O.V
I twirl Sky's hair in my finger. He hasn't woken up yet. Why not? Ashley comes in with the book in her hands. I look at her.

"Hey." I said. She smiles at me and then sits in a chair. "How is Sky's reading coming along?"

"He's learning. He's a pretty quick learner." She said. I had no idea Sky couldn't read. If I did, I would have taught him ages ago. I look at Sky. Then his eyes open. I smile.

"Hey. How you feeling?" I ask. He sits up.

"Sky you okay?" Ashley asks.

"Adam." He said.

"What?" I ask.

"Adam. That's my name. My real name." He said. I smile. I stand up and sit on the bed.

"You want to be called Adam or Sky?" I ask.

"Sky." He said. Alright. Sounds good.

"How much do you remember?" I ask.

"Everything." He said. I look over at Ashley.

"Go get the others. Now." I said. Ashley leaves and the book stays on the chair. I smile at Sky. "That's amazing. Can you tell me any of it?"

"I had a little sister named Sofie. Her and I played a lot when we were little. I never saw my parents." He said. The door opens and everyone comes in.

"You really remember Sky?" Ty asks.

"Yeah." He said. "With Notch's help of course. Oh Farla." He looks at Farla.

"What?" She asks.

"Notch wanted me to tell you that your in big trouble when you get back home." He said.

"Typical." Farla said.

"Did you get your name?" Ian asks.

"Adam." He said.

"That's right." Jason said.

"Why didn't you guys tell him that?" Kris asks. Seto crosses his arms.

"Notch helped him. He said not to tell Adam that. He needed to figure that out for himself." Seto said. I look at Seto.

"Wait. You talked to Notch?" I ask.

"We all did. Expect for Farla of course. Why do you think we didn't tell Adam anything? We were waiting for Notch to step in." Ty said. I look at Sky. So they do actually care.

"That's amazing that you remember." Ellie said coming next to me.

"Is Brine a problem Sky?" I ask. He looks at me. 

"Not anymore." He said.
