The children may be the thread that could sew up a broken marriage. -jazlykdat
Aubrey
They made her heart crumble at the same time jump with so much joy.
Vander said as he held the microphone.
You are the chosen ones. You are very lucky." He said smiling at everyone. Some people laughed. She can't help but admire her husband.
Dagdag nito. Napangiti siya sa asawa.
"If you are to ask me, what's the difference between our marriage 20 years ago and now, I'd say they are pretty the same." Vander inhaled deeply.
Sobrang lakas." He said looking straight at her.
"I'll tell you a secret." He smiled. She looked around. Nakatuon ang pansin ng lahat kay Vander.
"When I was young, I always admired my parents' marital relationship." He continued.
They always have this aura of happiness whenever they are with each other."
Until now, they look so happy with each other.
"That's why when I found the love of my life, I locked her with me right after we reach the marrying age." Nakangiti ito sa kanya habang nagsasalita. Her stomach churned.
"I was too eager to experience what mom and dad are experiencing with each other." He added.
"But we were too young and that sets the difference. We were too young to handle each other's emotional issues and so we ended up hurting each other in the process." Ngumiti ito ng mapait.
Siya rin ay napangiwi. She remembered some distasteful scenes that happened in the past. If they were a bit older, baka na-handle nila ng mas maigi ang sitwasyon.
"For the young people who are here now, I'd like to leave you a very important lesson. Don't ever rush for love." Vander stated.
"If you really love the person, you have to wait until you both are matured enough to lunge into marriage."
He smiled and inhaled deeply.
"Enjoy the moment while you are still young because the right time will always come."
There was a long silence before he spoke again.
"I was thinking, if I had married her 10 years later, it would have been different. We would have handled our marriage maturely."
