August came and with it the beautiful leaves. Jacob described what the forest looked like during the fall, and I was sad that I couldn't see it for myself. But Jacob told me that just because I couldn't see it, I could still picture it my mind.
Finally on August 21 Jacob told me that we could go to Diagon Alley and get school supplies. I jumped up and down excitedly while Jacob opened the Jeep's door for me. I hopped in and buckled my seat belt. Jacob got in and started the engine. "Hey Dad?"
"Hm?" "Where do you think this Diagon Alley is?" "I don't know honey, Professor Darme told me that it was in London and that I should go to the Leaky Cauldron." "Oh ok."A few hours later we arrived in London and Jacob helped me out of the car. I sniffed the air. "Dad it smells cigarette smoke and alcohol, are you sure this is where we're supposed to be." "Yeah I think so Vale Professor Darme said London, now we just have to find the leaky cauldron." "Ok!"
We wandered around London for about an hour. I tugged on Jacob's sleeve. "What is it, Vale?" "Do you think maybe we should just ask someone where the Leaky Cauldron is?" Jacob sighed heavily. "I know you hate asking for help, but we really need some right now Dad."
