Chapter 54

"Welcome!" Phil waves at his laptop.
You turn around and continue to edit your video on your laptop. You put on your headphones and softly play music so you can still hear Phil.
"Hi!" Phil yells as he pokes your side.
You almost fall out of your chair, but Phil catches you with the arm that isn't holding his laptop.
"Everyone on YouNow wanted me to scare you," he explains before kissing your forehead.
"That's nice. I'm just editing a video," you smile  as you block your laptop screen with your hand, "No spoilers,"
"Your hand doesn't even cover the whole screen," Phil laughs, "You can join in on the YouNow,"
"Okay," you giggle as you hold his laptop, "Hello everyone on YouNow! Well some people have a very colorful vocabulary," you comment as comments about your presence begin to roll in.
"There we go! You are now watching my YouNow," Phil smiles sadly at you as he takes his laptop. He adjusts the laptop so he is blocking the camera, "Sorry," he mouths as he walks back to where he was originally sitting when he started the YouNow.
You turn up the volume on your headphones and start listening to Phil's YouNow.
"So half of the comments are about how much you guys ship us. The other half of the comments aren't that good," Phil frowns.
'I ship it,' you comment.
"Oh good. Y/N ships us," he laughs.

"They're my OTP!" Dan calls out poking his head in the lounge.
More comments about why you and Phil are your NOTP.
Why are you guys even together?
Y/N is probably just dating Phil for views.
Phan forever.
Dan is lying about them being his OTP.
Y/N isn't even good at YouTube.
Dan needs to stop them.
Phil deserves someone better.
Your cheeks turn hot and cool tears roll down your cheeks. You wipe them away as you minimize the window. You continue to edit your video because you are a bloody YouTuber for heavens sake.
"I don't know why you guys don't like Y/N. We love each other. Isn't that enough? Dan has told us that he is perfectly fine with our relationship! He wants us to be together. Y/N is an amazing YouTuber. Try watching Y/N's videos before commenting things like that. Dan and I helped Y/N with her videos. So you are basically insulting us as well. Dan and Y/N are like siblings. Y/N is the one who deserves someone better," Phil rants, "Y/N deserves someone who doesn't-" he raises his voice.
"Phil!" you frown as you rush to grab the laptop from him before he says anything he might regret.
"Hello! Y/N here. I'm going to be taking over Phil's YouNow for a couple of minutes. He might need to cool down or get something to drink," you smile.
Approximately 100 people leave the YouNow.
Phil gratefully smiles at you. He sits on the floor and closes his eyes.
"Let's see," you mutter as you sit down, "You have a nice face. Thank you! I bet your face is nice, too. Why are you trying to make this relationship work? Well I love Phil. Phil loves me. Well he said he loves me so I think that's probably why we are in a relationship," you reply to the comments.
You look at Phil. He opens his eyes and nods.
"Well I'm going to hand it back to Phil. It was nice chatting with you guys," you smile as you hand Phil the laptop.
"Thanks, love," Phil grins before kissing your cheek.
You start to get up, but Phil grabs your arm.
"Stay," he laughs.
"Hey," you roll your eyes, "I need to finish editing,"
"Hey, you can finish later," he pulls you into his arms.
"I guess I'm editing later," you mutter as you adjust yourself in Phil's arms. He places the laptop on your lap.

"Well this is very true," he chuckles as he points to a comment, "It's meant to be because Y/N and Phil are both a little awkward,"
"Well Phil is obviously more awkward than I am," you joke.
"Obviously," Phil replies in a funny voice.
"Who are you trying to be?" you giggle.
"Snape from Harry Potter," he answers, "The impression wasn't good?"
"Nope," you laugh shaking your head.
"Anyways, back to what we wanted to talk about. We wanted to talk about our relationship," Phil sighs.
"We are happy together. We realize that some people might not accept the fact that we are dating. Look, things aren't always going to go the way you want them to go. We both know that. You know that, too. We are lucky to be alive right now. You see something bad on the news and you feel bad because your problems aren't as bad as other people's. So you keep all your problems in a box. One day, that box is going to overflow. Phil was there for me when my box was about to overflow. He makes me feel better. He emptied my box of problems. That's why we're dating. If you have a problem with that, then be calm and rational," you declare.
"I don't know what to add. I think Y/N basically summed it up. Oh, don't attack us when we are trying to go home. We need privacy. Thank you," Phil comments.
He ends the YouNow and starts crying.
You move the laptop off of your lap, "Phil, it's okay," you mutter as you give him a hug.
"I love you. Please don't go," he quietly cries.
"I'm not going to leave you. I love you, too," you smile at him. You curl up in his arms. He tightly wraps his arms around you.
"I'm going to stay here," you assure him.
