"My mum is letting me move back to my flat on February 13th," you tell them.
They both smile.
"That's it?" Phil laughs.
You fiddle with your hair. You shake your head and they both look confused.
"She's letting me move back to my flat, but she is having one of my coworkers live with me. She won't let me choose who. She's going to choose for me," you explain.
Silence takes over for a few minutes. It feels so violent. Things happen in silence. Thoughts of joy. Sad thoughts. Odd thoughts. You ponder what kind of thoughts Dan and Phil were having right now. You wait for their reaction.
Dan looks serious and a bit angry.
Phil smiles at you and says, "Don't worry, mouse, we will still visit you and try to get along with your new roommate. Right, Dan?"

 Right, Dan?"

"Sure. Y/N, can't you say anything? I mean you are an adult," Dan protests.
"My doctor diagnosed me with depression so my mum has to make decisions for me. Apparently my mind wasn't in a "proper state" to make decisions by myself. I didn't have the chance to go to the doctor again so now I'm stuck with my mum making decisions until I can make an appointment," you sigh.
"Does your mum like one of your coworkers? She might choose someone that she likes or someone that seems nice," Phil comments.
"She likes most of the boys. Especially Leo," you mutter. Your face feels warmer and you realize that you are blushing.
"Well Leo isn't that bad," Phil assures you.
"I'm hungry. Hey Y/N, could you order some food?" Dan asks.
You walk out of the room to order some food.
Phil POV
"Phil, are you okay?" Dan whispers touching my shoulder. I pull back. I sit in silence for a moment to gather my thoughts.
"Leo? Out of everyone at her job her mum just had to like Leo! Why couldn't she like one of the girls from her job? There are a lot of girls, but no, she just had to like a boy!" I exclaim.
I lower my voice and I whisper, "Dan, what if I loose her? I don't want to loose her,"
He frowns at me, "Phil, you won't loose her. You love her too much. You aren't going to let her go, right? You can't let her go now. You've worked too hard to let her go now. You love each other more than I love Maltesers," he lectures me.
This gesture makes me smile.
"You're right, Dan. I don't have anything to be worried about. Y/N loves me. I was there to support her when F/N died. I mean her sorry excuse for a boyfriend, Joshua, didn't help her at all," I tell him and I realize I am somewhat assuring myself.
Your POV
You walk back into the room. You ordered food from your favorite restaurant.
"Maybe I should have a small party when I find out who my roommate is going to be," you suggest.
"That sounds nice. Do you want some help planning it?" Phil smiles.
You are shocked. You thought that Phil would be freaking out or something. Maybe he was just trying to stay calm for you. That's it. He was trying to keep you calm. You needed to stay calm too.
"Sure," you answer.
"We'll help you plan the party. Then we can edit your video," Dan offers.
"You made a video?" Phil asks.
"Earlier today. Dan suggested that I try to make YouTube videos," you explain.
"She's pretty good at it," Dan compliments.
"Thanks, Daniel!" you smile before getting back to the previous topic, "I was thinking about letting my roommate invite some friends. Maybe you guys can invite a couple of your friends," you tell them.
"We can invite Louise, Zoe, Alfie, PJ, Tyler, and Casper," Dan responds.
"So that's about nine people if you don't count your roommate's friends," Phil adds.
"Maybe fifteen people? We can get food the day before. We don't really need decorations. So I think that's everything," you smile, "Thanks for helping me guys,"
"Anytime, mouse," Phil smiles back.

His smile seems a bit forced

His smile seems a bit forced. You weren't going to say anything. Maybe it was your imagination. If there was something wrong, Phil would tell you... right?
