Hey guys, Kawaii here! Sorry I took so long to upload. I've been feeling pretty lazy and I did want to update tremendously! I really love this story. Also, I started working so when I come home I just don't feel like doing it. But thankfully I took out the time @ 11:00PM to do this.
Well, enjoy!
*~*~*~*~*~**~*~*
Nick held Judy's hand smiling to himself. Everyone was watching. As they carried on through the night many whispered about the odyssey of the couple.
"Who are they?"
"Are they a couple?"
"Are they in love?"
If only they knew. Nick thought.
Judy closed her eyes, allowing Nick to pull her deeper into the city. They stopped.
A tall building stood affront, and Nick eyed the building's title: Blue Ribbon.
Judy's eyes twinkled in the dark as they went ahead inside. The scenery captured the mood of every couple. The walls were well coated with a light peach accent, the tables and chairs were well furnished, and the utensils were organized on the tables adequately.
Nick stood by the waiter, patiently standing for him to notice. He turns to Nick and smiles. "Names?"
"Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps."
The waiter checked the reserved sheet and checked off Nick's name. "Right this way."
"You already reserved seats that fast?" Judy asked in awe, as her hand was guided by Nick's.
"Well, I actually wanted to take you out for dinner tonight." Nick laughed sheepishly.
Judy shook her head. "You're too much..."
Sitting at their table, Nick called for a waitress to arrive. A lioness appeared, pulling out a sheet and pen. "May I take your orders?"
"Ah yes, what would you like, sweetheart?" Nick rested his chin on his paws amused by Judy's hysterical behavior.
"M-Me first?" Judy stuttered, glancing at the menu. "There's not much that I can select..."
"How about you try some chicken?"
"Chicken? Are you insane? We raise those!"
"You raise those?" Nick repeated with a cocked eyebrow.
Judy had to rethink her comment. "Well...my parents...that's not the point! I never ate meat in my life!"
"You ate fish?"
"Well yeah...?"
"Can we get well cooked catfish with hot sauce well-seasoned into it for the lady? And for me, I would like some Philomena with a mixed salad bowl."
"Alright sir, it will be down in about twenty minutes." The lioness bows and takes her leave.
"Wow...twenty minutes?" Judy muttered.
"Well, they gotta make the food fresh, just how I like you babe."
Judy's jaw dropped. "Nick...what's gotten into you tonight?"
"What?" Nick asked innocently.
"You're flirting tremendously."
"Is that wrong?"
Judy didn't know what to say. "I mean...I like it but uh..."
"Here are the cups of waters." The waitress came back with the drinks, bowing and leaving once more.
