Ah....the book is nearing the end...not that there's only 5 chapters left or anything heheh...but I'm making it my goal to make sure that I FINISH A BOOK ON WATTPAD!!!

No matter what, I appreciate all of your support. You've seriously pushed me to keep writing even though I've dealt with writers block and laziness and such! Thank you guys for persevering!

I'm still up, 1:30 AM in the morning, I'm so going to bed after I update this! Q~Q

Nick hasn't seen Judy for about a month again. It's nothing new, since he knew that she hasn't been herself since the breakup. Nick sighed to himself, basking on the couch in his living room. It seemed as though he was missing something. Missing someone. But Nick doesn't have time for that anymore. His work is what's more important now.

Nick picked up the newspaper and examined it. Nothing new. Tossing it aside, he picked up his remote, and turned on the television.

All that he ever watched these days were detective cases, mystery shows, the miserable lives of hoarders, kitchen nightmares, etc.

Nick popped out a bottle of beer, forcing the cap off with his shirt, and began guzzling it down.

Deep down, Nick knew that he wasn't himself either. He was definitely depressed. And with the amount of beer he began consuming each day, it was starting to take a toll on him.

Chief Bogo already complained about how indecent and non-composed he was during wild chases and during important meetings.

Nick knew that there was something wrong with him. But what was there not to be wrong?

Nick was miserable.

Sick of the content that he was watching, which only showed repeated situations of disagreements, violence, deaths, suffering and much more, he began surfing the channels.

His thumb stopped when the news channel came on display.

"Next on the news, a shocking story of a stray bullet shooting through an apartment door!"

Nick's eyes lit with excitement. "Oh geez, I wonder who was the idiot to do it..." Nick scoffed.

"The well-known heroine, also known as, Judy Hopps, was found at the crime scene just this afternoon!"

Nick spat his beer all over the floor. A drop of sweat dripped down his forehead. "...what?" Nick turned up the volume, sitting up.

Two animals that appeared to look like either yaks or moose appeared on the screen.

Witness 1: "We were just arguing about some stupid things we always yell about, and we were leaving our apartments...

Witness 2: "That's when we heard a loud sound just occur from the apartment we were about to walk past."

Witness 1: "And then a bullet just got lodged right into the wall!"

Witness 2: "It was THIS close to grazing my bro!"

Witness 1: "But I lived!"

Witness 2: "He lived!!!"

Nick gulped extremely hard. "What the hell was she doing...?"

"The police have been investigating matters, and it seems that the cop had made a failed attempt of suicide."

"SUICIDE?!" Nick gagged, his heart nearly leaping out of his chest.

"From the way the apartment looks inside, it doesn't seem like this bunny was doing well. Why is there no one watching over her? Who are her parents? What happened that resulted to this? The authorities are still looking into these matters. Also, from what Officer Hopps said, she claims that she was 'trying to put the cap over the gun's mouth so that nothing would be in harm's way'. But the media doesn't buy it. Something must have happened which led this cop to do such an extreme act."

Nick lowered his head, feeling as though a heavy weight fell on him.

"Is she seriously that depressed that she would try to kill herself...?" Nick muttered to himself. "The last time she admitted that she'd kill herself was when I asked her what would happen if I had died..."

Nick's eyes lit up. "In a way...I did die in her eyes...our relationship ended, and we don't even talk anymore...that's somewhat like...death." Nick concluded.

"Hah! She tried to kill herself?" Alec snickered, placing a leg over the other. "What a typical thing for a dumb bunny to do when they are cornered. I should just end it all, boo hoo!" Alec mocked.

"This is what happens when a low life prey tries to accomplish more than what they can handle. Now it's all backfired on her. With no one to support her."

Angel stared at the television in the post office. Her heart was racing, hearing the news. "What the hell is she trying to do...?" Angel sneered.

"What are they talking about?!" Bonnie cried. "They're telling lies about our little girl!"

"Judith would never to hurt anyone! Now they're saying she was allegedly trying to get revenge! For what?!"

Taken into custody by the chief of police, Judy sat, refusing to speak for the whole time she was in his office.
