"Chief Bogo," Entering his office, Judy shuts the door behind her. "I need to talk to you about something dire."
Removing his glasses from his eyes, he looked down at the rabbit from his desk. "Yes, what is it, Hopps?"
"Please, I need to get your opinion about this party that will be hosted in two days at Square Garden." Hopping on a high chair in front of the Chief's desk, Judy slides her phone to him, pointing at the screen. "It really causes for concern."
Putting his glasses on once more, Bogo examined the invitation. "Yes...what is the issue with this?"
"Yes..." Judy sighed. "...as I figured. Look at the fine print at the bottom right corner."
Rolling his eyes to the fine print, Bogo squinted his eyes. "...no foxes allowed." Grunting, the chief nodded his head. "Dear me, that's pretty straight forward."
"Exactly!" Judy cried. "This party invitation is promoting racist conflicts! Foxes are a species of canines, which basically means they are related to dogs in general, which includes wolves, hyenas, and many other kinds! All of them seem to be happily included except for one. Foxes. To me, that is most definitely not fair." Judy folded her arms. "And above all, they're breaking one of the general laws of Zootopia: Anyone can be anything. If a fox wants to enjoy their time at a public formal event and invite their friends, then heck, they should be able to do it! Any personal offenses that has taken place against them should be put aside, especially when planning an event that is open to the public! How dare—"
"Hopps!" Bogo intervened.
Judy's ear twitched. "Yes, sir?"
"I 100% agree with you. This is absolutely absurd, and does not uphold the standards of Zootopia. It makes me wonder who even put this circus show together."
"And that is why, I would like you to send me and Nick to go and investigate this matter."
"You and Mr. Wilde...?" Bogo repeats almost unsure.
Nodding her head carefully, Judy entwined her paws. "...yes sir."
"Are you sure you would want to put Mr. Wilde in a position like that?"
"As an officer, Chief Bogo, it's important to be trained in any aspect of the field and to learn to handle matters professionally, even if it is, we, who are being attacked for our birthrights. This can be an excellent opportunity for Nick to learn how to deal with circumstances like this."
Judy definitely had a convincing argument, one that Chief Bogo could not deny. "Well...this is very sketchy, indeed." Eyeing the invitation once more, he lets out a sigh. "Alright, fine."
"Yes!!!" Judy jumped in victory.
"But, you better report to me any evidence or key details you find about this party. This investigation will be posted on the board as pending. The others will know that this case is in progress."
"Thank you, sir, we won't let you down!" Hurrying out the office, Judy leapt for joy.
"HOPPS!"
Startled, Judy peeked into the door. "Yes sir!"
"You forgot you phone."
"Oh right!" Judy laughed hesitantly. "Oops."
Popping into her office, Judy squealed with excitement.
Nick looked up from his desk, curious by the rabbit's demeanor. "What happened? You struck luck at the lottery?"
"Oh, haha," Rolling her eyes, Judy walked to her seat. "I don't gamble, Nick."
