"Hey, baby?"

"Yes Angel?"

"What was all that about back there?"

"What?"

"I saw you winking at Judy."

"Oh nothing, just saying my good byes."

"Are you sure that's all it was...?"

"Hey, are you going to be cooking tonight? I don't want to be eating any vegetables; I'm getting sick and tired of them." Alec brushed off Angel's concern and continued walking ahead.

Angel simply sighed and nodded sadly, staring the ground until they reached home.

Judy backed into the corner of the room, holding her fist to her bosom. Nick cornered her, purring sinisterly.

"Nick...I..."

Nick brought his lips to Judy's, inhaling her fear. "You...lose."

Judy shut her eyes tight and cringed in fear.

"So, pay up. You owe me dinner tonight sucka!" Nick jumped around and snickered, holding out his hand.

Judy rolled her eyes, giving Nick her hand and was yanked into his arms. "Aww, don't worry Judy. Not everyone is good at playing "Are You Smarter than a Predator?'."

Judy scoffed in rage. "Maybe because it comes natural to you!"

Nick leaned on the kitchen wall and crossed his arms, shaking his head. "It only comes natural when you test me, sweetheart. And you were testing my skills in that game, it was so tempting to impress you. So of course that would happen."

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever." Judy waved her hand off at him and began to cook.

"So what cha making tonight? I hope it's steak!"

"I don't eat meat." Judy reminded.

"So? That doesn't mean that I don't need to."

"Yikes. Looks like your mommy didn't teach you how to be a gentleman."

"My mother taught me very much how to be a gentleman. And don't bring her up; I don't want to think about that woman."

"Oops, sorry." Judy grinned and closed her eyes feeling successful.

Judy began cutting and placing ingredients in the fryer. It smelled really delicious.

Nick sat at the table and began reading his newspaper. "So anyways...enough distractions. What was all that about today?"

"What do you mean Nick?" Judy asked innocently.

"Alec. He winked at you. Am I missing something?"

"To be honest..." Judy bit her lip. Should I tell him...? I don't want something to go down... Judy cried internally, fighting with her conscious.

"Carrot?" Nick flipped the page, not noticing Judy's anticipation. "Go on, I'm waiting."

Judy tapped her foot repeatedly on the stool she stood on.

Nick finally folded his paper, giving her his attention. "Judy."

Judy woke out of her trance. "Y-Yes?"

"What did Alec do to you?"

Judy laughed reluctantly, leaving Nick suspicious.

"Well..." Judy began, trying to stall a little. "...he kind of, sort of flirted with me while you and Angel went to talk for a bit."

"What the hell?" Nick slammed the paper onto the desk. "I knew that guy couldn't be trusted, ugh!" Nick grunted, tapping his fingers on the table.

"B-But, the good news is that I quickly fled from the situation! I didn't stick around!" Judy tried to speak optimistically.

"That's not the point Judy." Nick deadpanned.

Judy's ears drooped. She felt terrible that Nick was seriously pissed.

Nick pinched the bridge of his nose, exhaling deeply. "Promise me that you aren't the type of girl to go behind my back and cheat..."

"Wait---what?" Judy arched her eyebrows offended. "What the hell are you talking about?"

"Judy." Nick sternly spoke.

Judy backed down quickly, easing off a little. "I'm not trying to accuse you of being one of those...selfish girls out there...I'm asking you this because...a similar situation happened to my mom when I was little."

Judy's eyes glistened with concern. She hopped off the stool, walking the table and gently sat quietly. "W-What...?" She mumbled.

"Cheating was the cause of why my family broke up. You see, my mom and dad were quite devoted to their relationship. Nothing could have broken the bond between them. Not a predator under the sun had the capacity to divide them...that was until, a damn fox came along, seducing my dad...he kept it a secret from us...especially mom. I caught him a couple of times, sitting in the living room, doing..." Nick bit his lip in rage just recalling the thought. "...he was doing disgusting things that my innocent mind could not erase. And every time he caught me watching him, he'd just smile...and place a finger to his lips hushing me... and I would give him this nasty glare...like as if I was plotting to murder him."

"But I didn't want to hurt my mom. I didn't want her to face the fact that after two years, she finally found out that my father has been secretly doing activities only a husband and wife should do. It wasn't long of course that they got divorced. She had every right to divorce that unrighteous bastard...How dare he do that to my mom---his wife, the one who built this family together?"

"And here we are now..." Nick sighed with a failing subtle grin. "...Alec." He shook his head. "I just want you to be careful okay? I-I don't want to go through what my mom had to go through. I don't know what I would have done, knowing that you have abandoned me..."

Judy's eyes widened in shock. "Nick, I would never even think of doing that to you, are you insane?" She gasped.

Nick shook his head. "No Judy, I am sane. It's just that when I see Alec, I go insane. I can't stand him. Something deep down inside just tells me that he's not a fox to keep company with."

"So...does that mean we should warn Angel?" Judy asked.

"There's no need to. I'm pretty sure she's happy the way she is living with that un-koshered bastard." Nick sneered.

Judy stared down at the table. "You know, it's not good to talk bad about our friends."

Nick's eyes darted to Judys face quickly, scattering about her features. "Friends?"

"I'm talking about Angel, not Alec, Nick."

"Tch, I guess you're right." Nick crossed his arms and leaned back in his chair. "But I wouldn't get too comfortable with that thought. Just be careful."

"I will." Judy assured.

"Alright...so how about that dinner?" Nick resumed his peppy phase.

"Oh right!" Judy hopped out of her seat and back to the stove. She wet right ahead back to cooking.

Nick rolled his eyes and smiled. "Oh, and Judy?"

"Yes Nick?"

"Thanks for listening."

Judy blushed, but didn't turn to Nick. "You're welcome.
