I rolled over in the multicolored duvet to see Phil sleeping peacefully next to me with black messy hair. I kissed him on the forehead before rolling out of his bed and getting dressed before my brain could let me reconsider.

Phil was getting over the flu so I've been doing the shopping recently so he didn't have to bother with it with him sick. Lucky for me the nearest Asda was  just a short bus ride away.

It was dreary outside and the sky was grey without even a hint of sun. I put the hood of my black hoodie up so I wouldn't be noticed and planted my eyes in my phone with my head down. I really didn't want to be out, but I remembered how many times Phil had done all of this and more for me when I was sick.

"Dan?" A voice asked making me look up from the bus stop bench to see blonde hair pulled back and green eyes looking at me. I realized it was a girl I went to Uni with until I dropped out.

"Hey! Hello Allie!" I said with a smile. "It's good to see you again." I suddenly realized she wasn't smiling back, she just looked confused.

"I thought you lived in Manchester?" She said now forcing a smile and I couldn't understand why.

"I did, and then I moved here a while back." I said

"I take it the YouTube career worked out, because you don't look like a lawyer, you never really did." She joked.

"It did, and I'm glad for it you-"

"Mummy my shoe is untied." I looked down and almost didn't even notice the little girl holding her hand.

"You look like a lawyer." I commented on her pencil skirt and black blazer.

"I am." She replied and turned to her nagging daughter. "Sweetie mummy can't bend down in this skirt, you should have worn the slip on ones." She told her daughter.

"But they're all dirty!" She protested and I looked over the dark blond, curly haired, brown eyed little girl who only looked about three or four and had a very hard time standing still even for a moment.

"Hello! What's your name?" I asked the little girl who's eyes kept being drawn to me.

"I'm Megan and this is my mummy." She said happy that I acknowledged her.

"I know! I knew your mummy a long time ago, we were friends. If you'd like, and if your mum would let you I could tie that shoe for you?" I said and we both looked at Allie who nodded to her daughter.

"Prop your foot up here." I said patting my lap and she kicked her leg up and onto the edge of my lap. I felt bad for her, it didn't really seem like Allie was paying attention to her and just kept brushing her off.

"What's your name?" She asked as I tied her shoe.

"My name is Dan." I said as I quickly tied her shoe "There we go, all done." I said and she took her foot down.

"I know someone at school named Dan." The girl said.

"Is he nice?" I asked.

"No! He pushed me down, I don't like him at all!" She said with angry enthusiasm making her mum laugh.

"Not all Dans are nice, are they? How old are you?" I asked her and she held up four fingers.

"You're very smart to be four, you must get that from your mum, I remember her being much smarter than I was."

"She's almost five. So where are you headed?" Allie asked me changing the subject.

"Oh. To get some shopping done for Phil." I said.

"You two are still together, that's nice to hear." She said.

"We are. How long has it been anyway, we saw each other last after Uni, right? Like five years or something?" I asked.

"Something like that." She said.

"Do you have any children?" Megan asked me as she managed to climb up onto the bench and sit beside me.

"Nope, maybe someday I will though." I said not sure how to answer it, I mean how does one tell a child that two men can't reproduce so it makes things a bit harder.

"Why not? Why not now?" She asked curiously reminding me of how I was at that age.

"Megan. That's rude." Her mother snapped at her.

"No, it's fine." I told Allie. "I work a lot and I just wouldn't have much time to be with a child."

"Oh." Megan said "but mummy works all the time and she had me."

"Some people just aren't ready for a child Megan." She told her.

"How long until the bus?" Megan asked.

"Less than ten minutes." I said.

"How long is ten minutes?" She now asked as she flipped her brown curly ponytail around making me laugh.

"How have you been?" I asked Allie.

"Good, good, I've been good. You?" She asked.

"Not so busy anymore since mine and Phil's tour we did a few months ago, you know, just wanting to relax." I said.

"Oh, wow!" She said but seemed a bit anxious. "How was- Megan!" Megan had taken my hood off and was now standing on the bench playing with my hair and messing it up.

"I don't mind, really." I couldn't stop chuckling.

"How are you so rude?!" Her mother asked astonished at her child's behavior.

"I was like this when I was little too." I said.

"Look! I braided part of your hair!" Megan exclaimed proudly.

"Thank you so much! My hair was so boring today!" I said "do you mind if I take a picture so everyone can see how good it looks?" I asked.

"Can I be in it?" She asked.

"It's up to your mum." I said.

"I suppose." Allie said hesitantly.

"Are you sure?" I asked Allie making her nod. I turned the camera on on my phone and reversed the camera to see my now messy hair making me laugh once again. Megan came in close and threw her little arms around my neck and we both smiled big as I took the picture.

"There. Now my nice hair can be on the Internet forever." I said immediately posting the photo.

At the store as I mindlessly roamed the isles I started thinking. It was about six or seven years we knew each other in Uni but then again we knew each other after Uni too, didn't we?
I remember seeing her again after then five years ago maybe? She wasn't pregnant yet with her daughter then and I don't remember her having a boyfriend or anything, do how did she end up with Megan?

That was then realization struck me like a bolt of lightning causing me to freeze in the middle of the isle. I had seen her after Uni, at a bar, it was a little more than five years ago, we were drinking and she took me back to her place.

Oh god, that was the night I had cheated on Phil.

I began to sweat and I'm sure my face was beet red as some memories from that night came back to me. I hurriedly paid for my things and took a long walk home.

I opened my Twitter as I walked and looked at the picture I had posted that said "a little girl decided to do my hair while waiting on the bus today"

How could I have been so stupid? How could I have not remembered? My fans realized it before I did.

"OMG THAT LITERALLY LOOKS LIKE DAN'S BABY!" Was one of the comments. I looked at the photo again and I saw it. She had the same light colored curly hair that I had when I was little, the same demeanor, the EXACT same nose and eyes. It made sense now why Allie seemed so surprised and nervous about seeing me, Megan was my child.

This can't be happening, this had to be impossible, right? What would I tell Phil if this was true? What would he even do if this was true?
