Emily's POV:
What a magical moment. My lips on Ricky Azzi's lips. It's been a long time.
"Emily? Ricky? What are y'all doing?" We heard a girly voice coming from not too far. It's Mabelle!
I jumped as I stopped the contact of our locking lips and told Mabelle that I'm leaving.
"Take care of her James." I shouted as I pointed at him.
"Bye princess." Whispered Ricky.
"Bye Sexy Beast." I whispered back as I winked. He laughed and I blushed. "We will talk about this later asshole." I said.
"5 seconds ago I was a sexy beast." He acclaimed.
"You should get used to. I give many surnames to people." I winked again.
"So you accept?" He smirked
"Accept what?" I said surprised.
"Being my girlfriend?"
"Emily are you still here?" Shouted Mabelle.
"I'm quitting now bye." I shouted back. "We will talk about this later." I whispered to Ricky.
I totally changed my mind about him. I think I changed him from an arrogant asshole to a charming prince. I hope he isn't lying.
But he was too sincere today.
I should have asked him about his feeling towards me. Just to make sure. But not now.
Mabelle's POV:
"Babe, are you feeling alright?" I heard James asking me. I was laying on the couch, after Emily left. Oh my God I caught her kissing Ricky!
"Yes, I'm okay." I turned my head and answered.
"Look Mab, my mom is calling me, she has a problem at home. I gotta go, you'll be fine without me? If not I can tell her and stay with you, you know my-"
"James, don't worry about me, I'm fine. Go and help your mom." I interrupted him.
"Okay, I'll call you as soon as I get home, and I'll come back later." He said.
"That's okay babe, now go."
He gave me a quick peck on the lips, waved at me, completely ignored Ricky and then got out.
I blushed, remembering that Ricky was still in the room, and that he might have heard all of our conversation.
I decided to get some sleep, so I closed my eyes. A few minutes later, I heard Ricky's voice:
"Mabelle."
"What?" I answered annoyed as I opened my eyes.
"Can we, um, you know... Talk?"
"What do you wanna talk about, Ricky?" I told him with sarcasm.
"I kinda wanted to-"
"We have nothing to talk about. So shut up, and lemme sleep." I interrupted him. "I'm tired. And you might be tired too be cause-"
"Mabelle, please. I wanna make some things clear." Now he interrupted me. How dare he interrupts Mabelle O'Brien?
I rolled my eyes at him then said:
"You have 5 minutes to talk, understand?"
"Understood."
He opened his mouth, then closed it.
"I...I don't know where to start."
"God Ricky, just talk already. The five minutes are gonna end. 4 minutes and 40 seconds left."
"I want you to know, that what happened between us, is the past. I'm not like that anymore. I know I broke you heart, and treated you like trash, but I'm not a player anymore. I'm so sorry that I hurt you, but back then I didn't care, I was a heartless asshole." He admitted.
I didn't know what to say, I opened my mouth to respond to him, but he quickly cut me off:
"And I also want you to know that I care about Emily, I love her. I just, I don't know, she makes me feel happy, I never felt that way before. I always have this urge to be near her. I love her so much, I really do. And I want to make things good between us, 'cause you're an important person to her, and if I wanted to get to the next level with Emily, I can't be hated by her best friend. And I really feel sorry that I made you suffer in the past, but you have to understand that it's the past, and I have changed. So please forgive me, so we can start from zero. And maybe we could be friend? I hope you will accept my pity apologies."
Ricky looked at me, and I could feel the regret in his eyes. I somehow knew that he was not lying and he really wanted me to forgive him.
But should I? I mean he hurt me, so bad. But he said it was in the past. Ugh! I looked over at Ricky and saw that he was still looking at me. So I took a deep breath and said:
"I forgive you."
Ricky blinked a few times, but quickly recovered.
"Really? You forgive me?"
"Yes, like you said, the past is the past. We should start over. And Because I'm a good kind hearted human I forgive you."
"Thank you Mabelle, thank you so much. Gosh, Emily will be so happy to hear that."
He smiled. Wow. He really cares about her.
"But, if you hurt Emily, in any way, you'll regret it. I'll cut your balls. I'm serious now."
Ricky chuckled.
"I won't hurt her. I can't. I can't see her in pain, I love her too much."
"Good." I said with a smirk.
"You can sleep now, Mabelle." I laughed.
"Yeah."
"And thank you again."
"No problem, Ricky. I'm a kind hearted and amazing and very beautiful human." He laughed.
"And also you are goals." We laughed together.
I turned to the other side of the hospital's bed, close my eyes, then drifted to sleep.

Anyways anyways,,
Mabelle and Ricky FINALLY are friends again !!!
