Calum walked down the path on the way to Keely's house, nervous about what he was going to tell her. Walking up to her front door, he hesitated before knocking. Knocking 3 times on the door, he stepped back and waited before Keely's mum answered the door.

"Calum!" She said excitedly. "I was worried when you didn't come back here after school darl, I hope everything's okay." She said worriedly.

Calum had been friends with Keely for that long, that her mum had become like his mum.

He smiled, "Hi Andrea, i'm sorry, i had to get home straight after school, but thank you for worrying. Ummm, is Keels here?"

"Of course she is, come in. She's downstairs" She replied sweetly.

"Thank you! I'll see you later" Calum said as he ran into the house, letting his legs carry him down to Keely's room, his mind wondering.

Calum slowed as he came to Keely's door.

He walked in, automatically looking to the far corner of Keely's room, knowing that she'd be huddled up in a bean bag, listening to music and reading her 'girlfriend' magazine.

Keely looked up, noticing that someone had entered her bedroom. To her absolute shock, it was Calum.

"What are you doing here?" She questioned angrily.

"I came to say sorry, i hate the fact i made you upset." He said sadly.

"You didn't make me upset" She replied defensively.

"Keels, don't lie to me." He said taking a step towards her.

But this time it was Keely that took a step back.

"Come on, don't do this." Calum sighed.

"Calum, you hurt my feelings. And now you just come over wanting to hang out!?" She asked frustratedly

"No, i didn't come over to hang out. I came over her because i wanted to tell you something. But hey, it doesn't matter now." He sighed.

"Oh" was all she said

"I wanted to tell you that i like you." Calum said shyly.

"Cal, i already know that, we've been friends for years" she giggled.

"No, no" he said. "I like, like you. Like more than a friend"

Keely sat, blankly looking at Calum, who joined her in the bean bag. They sat in silence for a while. Calum's stomach churning and Keely wondering what to say next.

She took a deep breath.

"Cal, i think i like, like you to" she said

They laughed together.

"What do we do now?" He questioned.

"I don't know. I guess, i have to call you my boyfriend now..." She rambled.

They laughed again.

"That sounds so weird" he chuckled.

"Yeah it does" she said leaning over to lightly punch him on the shoulder.

"Hey! What was that for!?" Calum questioned.

"I dunno, guess it was my way of saying i like you" she said.

"That's it!" Calum yelled, rolling over and tackling Keely, tickling her until she was crying with laughter.

This is how things had always been with Calum & Keely. And this is how things would stay.
