When We Said Forever.

Chapter 8

Thanks to Calum, i was now all warmed up. He had built a fire & made me get changed into my warmer clothes that i had packed for the nighttime. He had even cooked a meal.... Well i would call a sausage in bread a meal, but hey, i had to give the boy some credit!

We were now sitting around the roaring fire, watching the flames dance as Cal played his guitar, happily strumming away.




Whenever Calum picked up a guitar i was absolutely mesmerised by him, the way his bottom lip would slightly puff out, the way his left foot would tap along with the rhythm, and how his calloused fingers could strum so easily. He was talented, there was no denying, and i always wondered to myself how he and his band had not 'made it' yet, all those boys were talented, well, i wasn't sure about Ashton as i hadn't yet heard him play, but let's face it, anything would have to be better than Michael, even a friggen baboon. I laughed at my own little joke.




Calum had began to strum to intro to a song, and i realised, it wasn't just a song, it was our song: "All About You" by Mcfly.




"It's all about you,

Yesterday you asked me something i thought you knew




so i told you with a smile; it's all about you.




Then you whispered in my ear and you told me too,




said; you make my life worthwhile, it's all about you"




He sang, melting my heart. He continued and finished the song, putting his guitar down and walking over & planting a firm kiss on my lips, this time i smiled into the kiss.




"Thank you" I murmured, reaching around to tangle my fingers in his hair.




"No, thank you" he said, breaking the kiss, only to plant a soft kiss on the tip of my nose & them grabbing my hand and leading me to the tent.




Under the covers with Calum was exactly where I wanted to be. Nothing dirty about it, just cuddling up to him. Although I was never really a 'touchy feely' person, it was still incredible to have Cal's arms around my waist & to let his warmth surround me. No matter what, that boy was always warm, which is why he was currently sleeping in boxers and I was rugged up like it was the middle of winter. My body trembled yet again from the cold, & Calum pulled me closer.




"I forgot how cold it was at night down here" was all he said before pulling me into his chest, my head resting in the crook of his neck.




I stretched up & placed a small kiss on his cheek, before he turned his head so we were now kissing on the lips, Calum moving closer to deepen this kiss further. Once we broke apart, i could feel my bottom lip tingling & butterflies were fluttering in my stomach, no matter how long I'd known Cal or how many times we kissed, this was always the reaction, and each time was as wonderful as the last.




"Goodnight Babe, i love you" he whispered in my ear.




"I love you too" I said, burying my head further into the crook of his neck. Safe & warm.

I'm the worst updater in the entire world! & I know this was yet ANOTHER short chapter, but it's late :(




This story hasn't gone the way i had planned, but hopefully it should make a come back soon. There is a lot planned for Keely & Calum!
