When We Said Forever.

Chapter 17

NOTE; This is literally just a filler chapter with Keely & Tegan having some girl time, but Calum makes an appearance don't worry! >>>>>

"It is time to party in true Aussie style!" Tegan yelled as she barged through my door with a slab of beer in her arms.

"You're kidding me!" I laughed.

"Do I look like i'm kidding?" She asked, raising her eyebrows at my stupidity. "Bonfire, music & beers in the backyard tonight my friend, and by the time we're done, Mr Calum Hood will have landed & you shall be reunited over Skype." She giggled making her way downstairs and out to the back deck. I followed behind her, stopping to get my iPod dock from my bedroom, then following her out to the couches & the bonfire pit. I plugged in the iPod dock as she cracked open our first drinks of the night.

"What song do you want?" I called, as she passed me a beer.

"Ooo tough one." She pondered thoughtfully, before finally deciding. "You know what, lets listen to this years summer anthem" she said.

"Coming right up!" I said, knowing exactly the song she was talking about. A second later 'Young Volcanoes' by Fall Out Boy was playing through the speakers.

"Ahhhhh!" She exclaimed, "you totally knew what song i meant!"

"Of course I did you idiot!" I laughed at her. "This is the song of the summer!"

"I can't believe you're leaving me at the end of next month!" She pouted. "That's like all 5 of you overseas, and i'll just be here working everyday." She laughed.

"Hey hey, maybe you could text Michael and ask him for a ticket?" I wiggled my eyebrows seductively at her, knowing damn well her feelings for Michael that she'd never act on.

She squealed, whacking me on the arm, "oh my god i cant do that!" She said, taking one last sip of her drink, before starting on the next one.

• CALUM'S POINT OF VIEW •

I watched as the small plane on the tv screen in front of me drifted closer and closer to our final destination, still hours away. I wonder if Keely had opened my surprise for her & what her reaction was, dreaming up the possibilities with a smile on my face.

"Thinkin' about her, hey" Luke said, leaning over to me.

"Yeah, wondering how she reacted to my gift" i said with a sigh, realising how much i craved her reaction.

"I'm sure she loved it" Luke said giving me a nudge.

"I know, i know. I'm that romantic" I winked at him, giving him a slight shove in the shoulder. "What do you think she's doing at the moment?" I asked.

"Probably thinking of you & how much she misses you." Luke sobbed dramatically.

"Such a tragic love story." Michael added.

"Boy meets girl, falls in love & then he flies away with his very handsome band members to get married in Vegas when we go there on tour" Ashton chimed in, making all of us groan at his idiotic comment.

"Shut the f**k up & go to sleep Ashton" Michael yelled throwing his water bottle at him.

An air hostess made her way down the isle towards us, hissing at Michael and Ashton to stop their shenanigans, making us all laugh.

After settling down, i decided to rest my head against the window in an attempt to get some sleep before landing.

• KEELY'S POINT OF VIEW •

"What do you think Calum's doing right this very second!?" I whinned at Tegan.

"Obviously sitting with a very sore bum after being stuck on the plane for so long." She giggled, the alcohol taking it's effect on us.

"Oh yeah" i giggled hysterically, getting up and dancing to the song that was playing.

"Oh my god Keely!" Tegan squealed.

"What!?" I asked, stopping my dancing.

"What if you get to meet Harry Styles when you go and meet Calum?"

My mouth dropped, and my eyes bulged.

"I'll tell him how much you love him!" She grinned at me.

"No no no! I love Niall! YOU love Harry " She pointed at me.

"Well Harry cannot have me because I love Cal-YUM" i chuckled at my new found nickname for him.

"Well make sure you bring Niall home for me okay" Tegan said with a stern look on her face.

"I pinky promise" I said giving her a salute.

"Can we go to bed now?" She whinged. "It's like 3AM & i need my beauty sleep."

"Let me call Calum first, to see if he landed the plane okay." I said, dialling his number & getting his voicemail.

"CAL-YUM HOOOOOD! You haven't landed the plane yet, and i miss you so we had a party to celebrate me coming to visit you. Wooohooo" i said, giggling uncontrollably and hanging up, following Tegan inside.

• CALUM'S POINT OF VIEW •

"Calum. Calum!" Michael whispered in my ear. "We've landed, we needa get off the plane" He said, standing up and stretching, me doing the same.

Grabbing our onboard luggage, we made our way off the plane. Once we were safely in the taxi on our way to our house in England, i checked my phone, showing one new text message & one missed call from Keely. I checked the text message first, smiling because she was so excited about joining me on tour. Next i listened to her voicemail, my booming laugh filling the car as I listened to her very drunk message, already planning my revenge to call her in her hangover induced state tomorrow morning. Sending her a quick text letting her know we'd landed.

CALUM: The pilots landed the plane safely, as i couldn't do it myself, something about not having a license?? England is cold. Real cold!

I hope you and Tegs had good night, by the sounds of things you did. Luke tried to cuddle me the whole plane trip, are you jealous? ;)

I sent it, just as we pulled up in front of the house that we would spend the next few weeks in as we practiced for the Take Me Home Tour.
