When We Said Forever.

Chapter 13

"Well, you have to text him back!" Tegan yelled.

"I don't want to, whatever it's gonna be sounds like bad news. Come on, when is 'We need to talk' ever good news?" I quoted.

"For God's sake woman, pick up that phone and text him back, you've gotta be a little curious" she stated.

"I am curious! But it makes me feel sick to the pit of my stomach!" I cried.

"Hurry up and message that boy before i do it for you" Tegan threatened.

"Thanks for the support mate" I joked before picking up my phone, my thumbs dancing as i thought of what to write. After hesitating for a few more seconds, i typed away.

KEELY: Yeah, sure thing. When & Where?

Showing Tegan my message, she gave me an encouraging nod, and i hit the send button, taking in a sharp breath as I did.

After 5 agonising minutes he replied.

CALUM: Soon, i'm on my way to your house.

Reading his last message, i could feel my heart about to beat out of my chest. Turning once more to Tegan, i showed her the message.

"Well, you know what you always say; everything happens for a reason. Things will be fine, i'm sure you're just overreacting" She assured me, before getting up off the couch.

"Where are you going!?" I almost yelled.

"Home?" She questioned. "Calum will be here soon, and it'd be better if you to talked alone, but call me later & explain!" She said, before reaching down and giving me a quick hug, retrieving her car keys and making her way out the front door. As the door shut, i could hear muffled voices coming from the other side. Surely Calum wasn't here already!

My phone buzzed and I became momentarily distracted from the happenings outside.

TEGAN: Just thought i'd warn you, Calum just pulled up. Beep beep girl, talk to you soon.

Too soon, i heard a knock at the front door, huffing I walked over and opened it.

"Hi Cal" i cautiously greeted him.

"Hey Keels" he said shyly before reaching down and giving me a tight hug, totally unexpected.

"Do you mind if i come in?" He asked.

"Yeah, come on in." I said, walking into the kitchen and leaving Calum to close the door behind him.

Making his way into the kitchen, Calum sat at the table, beaconing for me to sit with him. As i sat down, i noticed that he was absentmindedly fiddling with the tablecloth.

Calum sighed, before reaching his hand and grabbing the back of his neck, something he did when he was nervous.

"So, uhh. I came here to tell you something Keely, but i'm not quite sure how to say it." He stated.

"Well just say it Calum, no bullshit, because we've always been so forward with each other." I said, kind of sassily.

"Well that's the thing..." He hesitated. "I haven't been forward with you lately."

"Oh, you think!?" I remarked.

"I've been avoiding you, because there's something i need to tell you that could really affect us, and i'm scared" he said.

Okay now i was confused, i thought he came here to break up with me.

I sighed anxiously. "Just tell me Cal"

Calum also sighed. "Okay, well... It seems that One Direction, or rather Louis from One Direction has been watching our youtube videos, and sent one of their tour managers to our gig last week and, well, uhh..." He drifted off. "They want us, 5 Seconds of Summer to be their support act for the Take Me Home Tour" he spilt out.

"What!!!" I screamed, "Calum that's awesome news!!" I got up and hugged him, but as soon as i did, i knew something was still up.

"Wait, what aren't you telling me?" I asked him, taking a step back.

"We're leaving for England tomorrow Keely."

I'm so sorry i haven't updated since Sunday! I've been pretty busy this week. But I will update again tomorrow! :D
