Prepare yourselves for a short chapter, it's almost midnight here & i have work in 5 & a half hours! But i will do a super long update tomorrow for you all :) i'm so close to 1K reads & that's ridiculously exciting for me, as i didn't think this would even get to 20 reads, so THANK YOU! :)

"Well this is it." I said to my mum, who was holding back tears.

"Ohh! I can't believe my baby is flying across the world to meet up with her boyfriend! Look at you, growing up!" She cried, tears now streaming down her face as she pulled me into a hug

"Muuuum" i groaned, hugging her back outside the departures gate. "It's not like i'm never coming home! I'll be back in two weeks, in time for the semester to start!"

"I know, but what am i going to do without you, i'm going to be worried sick!" Not knowing what to say, I looked to my dad for support,

"I'm sure she'll be fine love, we made her strong, i have faith in ya darls" he said, pulling me into a hug, then stood back next to mum with his arm around her waist.

"I'm being so silly." Mum said wiping her eyes. "I want you to have the best time over there, and make sure you give all those boys a big hug from me."

"I will mum" I smiled at her. "But i've seriously got to go, they're calling my flight" i said, leaning in to give them on last hug before heading off the my boarding gate.

"I love you both, i'll message you when i land" i said.

"We love you too" they said in unison giving me a wave as i made my way to the departure gate.

Standing in line, i took a deep breath that i hadn't realised i'd been holding and i text Calum.

KEELY: Guess who's finally boarding! x

"Next please" the attendant called.

"Ticket thanks" she called again, so i handed her my ticket, which she scanned and nodded me through to the plane's entrance.

"Hello & welcome aboard" a friendly flight attendant greeted me after i had made my way down the tunnel to the plane door.

"Thank you" i beamed at her.

"Your seat is to the left of the aircraft, row 25, you'll find it easily enough" she said with a wink, waving me on towards my seat.

I walked down the isle, firstly through business class, looking at all the men and women dressed in fine suits.

'Urgh' i thought to myself. Wearing a suit on a 24 hour flight would be a nightmare. I was thankful for my ability to dress in leggings and a loose Tshirt, which would make the trip a little more bearable.

Next, i walked through the economy seating, full of families with screaming babies, and was thankful once more to notice that my seat was right up the back away from all the hustle and bustle. Finding row 25, I sat down in the window seat, settling in for the long journey ahead, trying not to think about how much i was dreading the take off that was due in the next half hour.

Pulling out my phone, i checked my messages, noticed one from Calum.

CALUM: Cannot wait to see your pretty face, it's been too long. Have a safe flight babe. xx

'I'll be there soon Cal' i thought to myself, staring out the window onto the tarmac.

The past four weeks had dragged by & it was so difficult to believe that i was currently sat in this aircraft, on the way to a country i've never been to, to visit the boy i fell madly in love with when I was 11.

I'm so sorry for my crappy updating, but as of tomorrow, they will be better! :) love you all!
