"Attention passengers. We will be landing shortly, so please begin to prepare for decent. Make sure all seat belts are fastened & that all seats are in the upright position." The flight attendant called over the intercom, awakening me from my broken sleep.
I tried to rest as best i could on this flight knowing it would be day time when i arrived in England and i wouldn't be able to go straight to the boys house and sleep. The flight hadn't been too bad; i had my row to myself meaning i was able to lay down and get some shut eye, and was also able to stretch my legs. When i wasn't sleeping, i was listening to music or watching in-flight movies because lets be honest, there isn't much to do on a flight. The only real issue i had was the take off. There's just something so unnatural about zooming down the runway, and some how climbing up into the air, making your ears pop and your head needing to explode. But as soon as the plane had levelled out i was okay. Now after a pleasant flight, we were ready to descend, another part of the flight i hated. We began circling the airport preparing to land, i was sitting upright, looking straight in front of me, gripping onto my chair, as we landed, the plane's brakes squealing as we hit the tarmac at such an incredible speed.
The rest of the passengers clapped, congratulating the pilot on a safe landing; something i never really understood & something that made me cringe inside.
But i soon forgot about that, because i knew that inside Calum would be waiting for me, making this long flight 100% worth it. As everyone began to exit the plane, i stood up, grabbing my bag and making my way down the isle and out into the terminal, where i was directed to luggage claim.
As i walked, admiring the frosty view outside, i pulled my coat further around my body. England was bloody cold & i was only in the airport! I continued following the long stream of people towards the luggage belt that was spewing out bags of all shapes and sizes. I stood, waiting for my bag to come around, when i felt arms wrap around my waist, making me jump and face the person holding me.
"Calum!" I screamed, causing him to laugh.
"Hello!" He beamed down at me.
"How was your flight?" He asked.
"Screw the flight! Come here" i said, reaching up and pulling him down to my level, attaching my lips to his, for what felt like the first time in years. Once again, i felt his arms go around my waist and i draped mine around his neck, pulling him closer. Normally we weren't for public displays of affection, but i guess this time we had broken our unspoken rule. Calum deepened the the kiss, then all too soon, broke away, leaning into my shoulder and kissing me on the neck before whispering "I missed you"
"I missed to to Cal" i said, as he stood up straight, taking my hand in his.
"We should get your luggage & get out of here" He winked at me.
"Sure thing" i chuckled at his eagerness.
He led me back to the luggage conveyer belt, spotting my suitcase coming around and swiftly grabbed it off and planted it firmly on the ground, before pulling up the handle and wheeling it away.
"Cal, i'm sure i can wheel my own bag" i told him
"No way, you've just been on the longest flight ever, there is no way you're carrying your own bag" He said, as we exited the airport, and heading straight to a black car, loading my bag into the boot and sliding into the back, gently pulling me in along side him.
"I'm sure a regular taxi would have been fine to" i laughed, as he pulled me closer to him.
"That's what i said, but security sent me in this car" he pouted
"Security?" I questioned.
"Yeah, it's weird hey. Us 4 idiots have our own security. Ashton hates it, he thinks his muscly enough to take on anything."
"Of course he does" i said, as the car took off from the airport.
"How far's the drive?" I asked Calum.
"It's not too long, but you're welcome to use me as a pillow if you wanna sleep." He said innocently. "That's what i did when we landed. We got ushered into this massive black van and i fell asleep on poor Mikey. When we got to the house we were all asleep on each others shoulders" he giggled at the memory, in turn making me giggle along side him.
"I can't wait to see the boys" i said.
"They're excited to see you!" He exclaimed, "we've had a count down on our fridge for the past two weeks!"
"You guys are such idiots!" I laughed.
"What! We're all excited that you're here!" He said, leaning in and giving me a peck on the lips, making me smile.
Intertwining my fingers with his, i settled back down into my seat, and we ended up talking about all the crazy adventures Cal and the boys had been on since living in London. I learnt that Ashton was now styling his hair differently, Luke grew about 7 foot according to Calum, and Michael now had black and blue hair which was quite a shock, i was so used to his blonde streaky hair. But, the best news of all was that the boys hadn't changed one little bit, according, once again to Calum.
The car pulled up outside a house in the middle of a quiet little street, and Calum got out, thanking the driver, and pulling me along again.
"Well, this is it" he cheered. "This is the 5SOS abode!"
"I bet you've kept it filthy inside!" I joked with him.
"Nope! Ashton made us clean it because he wanted it to look perfect for you. Odd boy that one, let me tell you!" He said, leading me up the steps and through the front door.
Stepping through the door i took in the sight before me and gasped, cracking into a massive smile, "oh my god!"
