KEELY: Hey, Wanna hang out today? xx

CALUM: Can't. Got band stuff, sorry. Talk to you tonight.

Letting out yet another sigh, i reread Calum's reply for what felt like to hundredth time since i'd received it. It had now been a week since Calum had spoken to me, and i was left feeling like absolute crap because of it. Normally i'm not a clingy or really emotional girlfriend, but he hadn't even managed to even send a simple, "hey, how are you?" Text, or stop by like he normally did just to say hello, and i was left wondering if it was because of what happened last weekend; yes we had fooled around a bit, but everything seemed so normal in the morning, but as Monday loomed, Calum started drifting; not answering texts, being vague, and giving simple yes or no answers. Had i done something wrong, Was something wrong with my body, did he still love me? I pushed these thoughts towards the back of my brain, trying to ignore the uneasy feeling in my stomach.

Today was Saturday, and normally i would spend the day with Cal doing something crazy, but it was just going to be me today. Since it was a beautiful day, i decided to get dressed and take my dog for a walk, ''maybe it'll take my mind off things' i thought to myself, but once i returned home from my walk, my mind still wasn't at ease, and thoughts of Calum and what i had done wrong still ran wild within my mind. So i decided, that there was only one thing left to do. Gathering a few blankets, i trudged downstairs, making a nest of blankets on the couch in front of the TV, then i turned to the DVD rack, deciding which movies i would mope around to; my top 3 being- The Notebook, Dirty Dancing and finally; 10 Things I Hate About You. Putting 10 Things I Hate About You into the DVD player, i ran upstairs and scooped myself a large bowl of ice-cream, them clambered back downstairs and snuggled into my nest of blankets for the afternoon.

Half way through the movie my phone buzzed and my heart jumped, hoping it would be Calum, but it wasn't. However, it was my bestfriend, which did cheer me up.

TEGAN: Are you dead? Seriously haven't heard from you in a week girl!

KEELY: Just about. :(

I replied, deciding to pause the movie, instantly getting a text back.

TEGAN: What's up? :(

KEELY: BOYS. Or rather one boy...

TEGAN: Tell me what i'm kicking Calum's ass for!

KEELY: So much to explain, might just be me. I don't know. I'll call you later & explain.

TEGAN: Shut up. I'm on my way over.

KEELY: Just let yourself in when you get here.

I locked my phone, grabbing the remote and hitting the play button. Shortly after, i heard my front door open, knowing it was Tegan.

"I'm down here" I called.

"Where else would you be, you idiot" she called back laughing.

She suddenly appeared, eating a banana that she most likely helped herself to on the way through the kitchen, that was the way our friendship worked.

"Ooo, Heath Ledger!" She squealed, before jumping onto the couch beside me, settling in and making herself comfortable.

"So...?" She said, and i launched into the story, filling her in on every detail, starting with the concert, to that night with Calum, to breakfast the next morning and now.

By the time i had finished, her mouth was hanging open in disbelief.

"Surely not!" She almost yelled.

"It's Calum we're talking about, he doesn't care about anything like that! I'm sure he's just busy with the band stuff, you know those boys! They're always bloody practicing... If that's what you'd even call it sometimes, i swear 99% of the time they're just all cuddling or talking about Penguins and friggen Ponies" she said, making me snort with laughter.

"Maybe you're right" i smiled at her.

"You know i generally am" she laughed and attempted to wink. Before adding "Now, i'm up for some Dirty Dancing action, i mean HELLO Patrick Swayze" as i got up and replaced the DVD. We both settled in for a night of chick flicks and junk food.

We were now half way through The Notebook and my phone buzzed, yet again, checking it i saw i had a message from Calum.

I looked at Tegan as she gave me a nod and an encouraging smile before i opened it.

Reading the four simple words on my screen, I went numb, and when I didn't move to reply, Tegan looked at me and I handed her my phone, silently reading what Calum had messaged me.

CALUM: We need to talk.
