"Deathbringer!" A rainbow-colored dragon yelled. After she yelled for her mate a large crack formed on the shell of an egg. The egg was silver and blue.
"What?!" A large black dragon yelled running into the nursery. He saw the egg. "Glory the egg is breaking!" He gasped. Queen Glory chuckled.
"No, it's hatching." Deathbringer smiled and walked closer to his mate. The moon peeked through the Windows as the egg broke more.
"So, why is it taking so long?" He asks tired of waiting. Glory smiled and she twisted her tail with his. A part of the eggshell broke and a small talon popped out.
"Hush now." She said quietly. The egg slit in half and a small black Rainwing laid on the ground. She had tons of multi-colored specks on her scales. She looked up at her parents with large green eyes. Glory stepped forward and picked up the tiny dragonet in her talons a show her to Deathbringer.
"What should we call her?" He asks. Glory shrugs and looks at the next queen carefully.
"How about Moss." She suggested. Deathbringer nods and smiles at his daughter, Moss.
