Chapter 7

Moss yawned and opened her eyes. Her and Eden found a cave on the outskirts of the rainforest. She stretched and stood up closing her wings. Eden was curled up near the entrance. Moss walked over.

"Come get up." She says softly. She laid her talon on his shoulder. Eden opened his blue eyes.

"Huh?" He groaned turning over to look at her. He yawned and stretched his wings.

"It's dawn. Time to head off." Eden nodded and stood up, shaking his wings. Moss smiled and nudged him slightly walking out. Her ear fans a bright yellow.

"It's so early." Eden yawned. He opens his wings and jumps into the air. His wing beating lightly as he hovers. Moss jumpers up after him. The morning sunlight catches on her scales. Her black scales are deep blues and purples.

"Where do you think we should go?" She asks. Eden shook his head after staring at her.

"Let's try Possibility. Some on might've seen her there." Moss nodded. Eden flapped his wings and began the fly. Moss followed him.

After a little while, Moss began to fly a bit slower. Eden noticed her slowing down.

"It's almost sun time if you want we can stop so you can rest." He asks hovering.

"No, no, I'll be fine." After that, her wings gave out as she fell out of the air. Eden's eyes widened as she dived down after her. He beat his wings and caught her in his talons placing her on a sunlight rock.

"Rest." His eyes soft and caring. Moss nodded and laid down curling up on the heated rock. Eden sat down beside her and curled up his tail. "I'll protect you." His voice so soft she could barely hear it as she drifted into slumber.

*Queen Glory's POV*

Rainwings waited in line to complain to the queen. Glory curled and uncurled her tail.

"That Sandwing shouldn't be here. Your daughter is the only heir and all she does is hang out with him." The male growled. His scales a crimson color.

"Now Mango I can't-"

"Glory!" Deathbringer' voice boomed through the room.

"Mango you're dismissed, tell the other they'll have to wait till later." Mango nodded courtly before walking out closing the doors behind him. "What now Deathbringer?" She questioned standing up and walking over to the Nightwing as he caught his breath.

"Eden and Moss are gone. I searched the whole castle." Glory's eyes widened.

"Have you checked the forest yet?" He nodded.

"I sent out a patrol to look for them. They have yet to return."

"Who's leading them?"

"I was." A white dragon emerged, walking in. "I left the others outside, so you count be crowded."

"Thank you, Ghost." The odd dragon bowed her head. Her scales a ghostly white with black talons and large dark eyes. "Did you find them." She nodded.

"They left the territory in search for Eden's mother. I sent Ivy to follow them on their quest. Or whatever you want to call it." Glory nodded.

"I want outpost on the corners of the rainforest." Deathbringer thought out loud.

"Deathbringer." Glory scowled.

"Actually that not to far fetched my queen. With the outpost, if they were to come back we could bring them to you immediately." Ghost sat down. Glory though as she returned to her throne.

"Alright, but I want at least two Nightwings at the outposts and at least one disguised Rainwing."

This took forever but I was trying to fugue out a good name for Ghost. And I think it suits her well. What do you think?
