Moss yawned and walked out of her room. She flared her wings a bit and walked to the room across from her. She opened the door like always. She felt sand under her talons as she came to the vine knit hammock. A large sandy-gold dragon was still asleep. His wing drooping over the side. The hybrid slithered over to him as quiet as possible then,
"Eden! Get up!" She yelled in his ear. He shot up and out of bed tumbling over Moss. He landed on top of her there noses barely touching. She could feel his warm scales start to heat up more.
"Sorry." He says getting off. "You gave me a heart attack!" He yelled at her trying to be angry. Moss started to giggle. He smiled.
"Come on! Let's get out of here before my Dad wakes up and ruins the fun." After that, they snuck out through the window. Moss led the way to the same small lake where they met. She landed and turned her head as he landed with a slight thud.
Moss sat down near the lake bed and Eden sat down a little further away.
"Hey, Eden!" She calls over. Eden turned his head towards her. She stuck her wing in the water and shot it out. The water flew off her wing and hit him. She began a laughing fit. "Got you!" She chuckled. Eden laughed at her. He stood up and walked over to her.
"You know how to swim?" Moss looked at him confused as he pushed her into the lake. She fell back with a slash and he dove in after her. She came to the surface and floated looking around. He came up and splashed at her.
"You're so annoying." She joked and climbed back to the lake bed. He stopped her and wrapped his wings around her.
"I know." Moss looked taken back. But she didn't hesitate to wrap her wings around him as well.
"Thanks for saving me yesterday," Moss says lightly. "Now you and that Koa. What did he do to you that made you not want to be his blood?"
Eden sighed. "My mother disappeared a few years ago and he blamed me for it, by telling the queen about my powers. They were trying to use me as a war weapon so I left and found you." He paused, unwrapping his wings and sitting down. Moss followed him.
"You were looking for your mother weren't you?" He nodded. The dragoness stood up. "Then let's go! It'll be fun." She smiled standing up. Eden nodded once more.
"Maybe, but you have a family that loves you, I don't eat them to think your dead."
"They want my dad can be protective but even he knows I won't die that easily." She smiled and Eden stood up with her.
"Ok then."
