Moss walked through the castle. Her tail trailing behind her. Eden wasn't in his room and she needed to get to class soon. "Eden!" She called her voice echoed through the canopy. She saw a flash of sandy-gold scales. She perks up and bit and jumped into the leaves.

"We have to leave." He said simply.

"Why?"

"The sandwings they'll be looking for me by now. I'm sorry Moss, but-but I don't want you to get hurt." He said looking away.

"What did you do to make the whole kingdom hate you so much." She says hoping he didn't have to leave. He looks around a bit before taking her talon and pulling her to a secret area. She looked around a bit. "Why-"

His talons glowed a bit before he laid them on the ground to make the grass burn a bright blue. Moss backed away slightly. He takes out the flames before they could spread.

"My egg was enchanted, they call me the cursed one." He says looking down.

"Don't worry, I'll never let them hurt you." She says laying her talon on his. He looks up. "Promise." She confirmed.

"Thank you." He says and gives her a quick hug. Moss closed her eyes as his scales warmed her. He let go and back up.

"Should we still fix up your room?" He nodded smiling. Moss began to walk off but stopped. "How do we get out of here?" She asks. Eden began to chuckle and led the way back to the castle.

Once they got there Moss smiled and tugged him out through a window leaping into the air.

"Where are we going?" He asks flying after her. She didn't answer as they came to one of the tunnels. "No, no, no, I can't get back. They'll kill me." He says worriedly, he grabbed her tail and pulled her back hastily.

"Ow!" She snapped turning back to him. "I'm going to get your sand."

He looked at the ground. His wings dropping. "I don't want them to kill you." Her anger cooled do hearing him say that. He looked at the grounds and she laid her wing on his back.

"Then wait for me here. I just have to grab the bags I made last night." He looked up and nodded, standing.

"No, I'll stay in the tunnel and watch." They made their way into the sand kingdom. Once they got to the end of the tunnel there were four large bags. Picked up two of them and threw them over to Eden. She picked up the other when the sound of wings beating the air stopped her. She threw the last bags and looked up to see four sandwings.

"Run." She murmured to him. He nodded running through the tunnel. His talons scrapping over the stone stopped as Moss turned.

A large male looked down at her. His obsidian eyes narrowed. She back up in the sand her frills flared.

"Get her." He ordered. She stood wide eyes as two Garuda grabbed her by the wings and a third tied a chain around her jaws. She growled but couldn't move from their talons around her.

"Queen Thorn doesn't like it when Rainwings steal from us." As if they did. Moss. Looked back to the tunnel worriedly. This was going to be a while. She was taken away.
