The next day Moss was up early. Mist stood beside her as the two waited for their father. Moss missed how simple life used to be, but then she was the one to push her father. His natural protective instinct going into overdrive as his three dragonets and mate were all going different paths, especially Moss.

Deathbringer pasted the two females as he walked along the royal hut, making his way outside. Mist looked at her sister before shifting her scales to follow. Moss followed her father boldly not carrying if he saw her. In fact, that exactly what she wanted. Coming closer she stopped as he did, a small RainWing stopping him for a chat. At her side a large NightWing who watched silently. Moss knew them faintly from when she was learning fighting techniques with her father, the two would help on instruction and any dragonets who took things too far. The RainWing was older than Moss by nine years, so at the time she was an apprentice to Deathbringer, her and Ghost were close once she had to train the albino after Deathbringer helped out with a younger Moss.

Her name was Papaya, her colors shifting effortlessly from a pale yellow to dark orange as it went over her body. The NightWing was a very dark green, with stars on his wings as well as across his face, thankfully though he was born without the moonlight so he has no powers. His name was Truthspeaker even though he made little to no effort to speak at times. Moss didn't like him, but he was a straight to the point dragon, as he was her father's second for a long time.

Moss walked over to them confidently, letting the anger flow off her scales and leave her body as she looked at her father kindly for the first time in what felt like years. "Dad," she began.

Deathbringer turned, seeing her his face turned from a slight frown to a smile. "I see you finally woke up."

"Yes," she thought about what she was going to say very carefully. "I was wondering if you've seen Mist. Stormy was looking around for her I couldn't find her."

The dragons that were talking with Deathbringer watched as Moss spoke with him now, knowing not to mess with this family talk. From the corner of her eye, Moss watched as Mist grabbed the keys from Papaya and hid them under a nearby bush. She shifted her scales and ran over to them.

"Oh was he looking for me? I thought I told him I was going to see Dad first." Mist walked over and gave a hug to Deathbringer. He looked at the two dragonesses with a sigh before speaking.

"You two need to run along I need to speak with these two alone," he says with authority clear in his voice. They nod while quickly running off, Moss bending her tail to catch the key rings before she made it outside the royal platform. Jumping down her and Mist make their way towards the prison.

"I still can't believe we had to make a prison." Mist says stopping before the stone cave. Beside it, a large waterfall was loud enough that you wouldn't be able to hear the clinging of chains from the prisoners.

"After the SandWings lost trust in us Mom didn't have any other option." She replied ducking into the tunnel.

"Why do they not like us?"

"Two of our dragons killed Princess Sunny." She looked down at Mist, her young sister looking most the age her face had as she heard this, being able to read minds and have the mental age of an older adult really make her seem more of Moss' twin then Stormbringer's. They met eyes. "It doesn't matter, Mom didn't order them to but one of her best friends is dead."

"I'll stand watch while you free him." Mist sits down curling her tail over her talons. "I can hear his mind, it's pretty crowded in it and-"

"I'd rather him tell me, himself. Thank you Mist for helping me." Moss smiled.

"That's what sisters are for, huh?" She lets out a small chuckle as she turns away. The older dragoness turns with a breath. She looked down at the keys that laid in her talons. Walking down the stone hallway she looks at the cells on either side of her. The further she went back the less amount of prisoners. She stopped once when she saw an old battle-scarred SeaWing. He looked up at her with one grey eye. Without another word, she continued on.

She found it strange that a SeaWing was in the prison, for her parents were only rivals with the SandWings and even with them it was an accident. Glory didn't even hate the SandWings, in fact, it was as if she was still mourning the death of her friend. Moss took a breath as she came to the last few cells. The scent of blood flowed over her, not being able to see Eden it only made it worse for her. She tucked her wings tightly to his sides and stopped in in front of a cell.

Curled up in one corner was Eden.
