"Thank you", I said, he hesitantly glanced over and cut the engine. We were sitting outside my house, traffic buzzing by distracted me from the silence in the car.

"It's been good to see you.", He stated, it was almost a whisper.

"Yes.", I signed and stared at the floor. "At least we can say a proper goodbye now, I walked out on you last time.", He slightly nodded and took his seatbelt off.

"Get out of the car.", We both opened the doors, he leant against his door and folded his arms. I walked round the car and stood in front of him, little intimidated by his height.

"Get in contact with your family.", He took a deep breath and slightly smiled.

"You don't give up on things do you?", He bumped my shoulder and playfully smiled.

"I could say the same about you.", His eyes focuses on mine, his gaze sharpened.

"Never, Anastasia.", I felt a little shock in my stomach, he ran a hand through his hair and checked the time.

"You'd better go.", I stated, he took a step closer closing the gap between us.

"Promise you'll visit?", I nodded and glanced at the ground. "That's not good enough, promise me you'll visit me. I cannot go a whole year without seeing you again, please?", I slowly looked up at him, he looked desperate.

"I promise.", He almost signed in relief.

"Thank you.", His phone buzzed which made me take a step back. "I need to go.", He came over pretty pale, my brows came closer together as I stared intensely at him.

"Are you ok?", I questioned.

"Everything is fine. Stay safe, visit soon.", I nodded as he quickly ran a hand down my arm.

"Always.", He squeezed my arm and opened the car door, the engine roared and he undone the window.

"Goodbye, Christian.", He raised his eyebrows and nodded.

"Anastasia Steele."

I watched his car disappear into the traffic, I stared up at the sky and shut my eyes tightly. I breathed in the fresh air before making my way up the steps to my flat, I opened the door and slammed it behind me.

I continued walking but then realised I heard something drop, I slowly walked back and picked up the small piece of paper that had fallen.

I smiled as I recognised the handwriting.

'Don't hesitate to message me. Stay safe. 07791087401'

Did I really want to start this all again? I remembered how much he hurt me but then realised how happy I was with him. I shook my head and tried to get rid of the thousands of words running through my head.

I jumped when a loud knock brung me back to earth, I held tightly onto the piece of paper and answered the door.

"Where have you been all day?", He barged his way through and sat in the sofa, "I've tried ringing you, I mean I even came here earlier today to see where you were.", Shit. I went to the fridge and grabbed a orange juice.

"I went shopping.", I stated, walking back into the living room.

"Shopping? With who?", I glared at him.

"Yes, shopping. I went with my friend.", He sat back in his chair and rubbed his forehead.

"Why the fuck do you have a guy shirt on?", He asked, he raised his voice and stood up slowly. He made his way over to me and grabbed my orange juice.
