My heart was pounding. I could feel it thumping harder than usual. I took a deep breath and gulped, the elevators doors slowly opened and revealed Christian's immense apartment. I tried calling out his name but I couldn't speak, already I was speechless and I hadn't even seen him yet.

"There she is.", For a split second I thought my heart had stopped beating, I quickly turned around and watched him walk in from the elevator. He took his earphones out and downed his water, he wiped the sweat from his face and smiled.

"Hey, Mr sweaty.", He grinned and strolled towards me slowly, his eyes were switching to my belly and back to my face.

"I would hug you but I'm soaking wet.", He licked his lips and slightly smirked, I forgot he was this intense.

"Sweatiness mixed with rain has never stopped me, come here.", I grabbed him hard and pulled him closer than ever before, he rested his forehead on my shoulder as I slowly stroked his back.

"Missed me?", I pulled away and kissed him slowly.

"I always do.", He kept his arms around my waist before bringing one hand on the top of my stomach.

"How's this one?", I could see his face beaming, how could I tell him?

"Not doing much.", He chuckled and shook his head.

"No surprise there, soon we will be running after him.", My eyes widened, I could have swore I gasped too. "Hey, don't panic. I'm not mystic meg, just what I think it will be, what I see us having.", I half smiled and really tried not to show any sign of emotion.

"I got a message when I landed, the flat is all done and signed off.", He didn't take his eyes off mine, he intertwined our hands and kissed my forehead.

"So, now you are mine.", I started walking backwards and he followed me, he stayed so close that I was finding it hard concentrating on where I was stepping.

"All yours.", He grabbed my waist hard and I fell backwards onto the sofa, he climbed on top of me and kissed my neck slowly.

"Mine.", I nodded, it was almost a reassurance way. He kissed me rougher this time, he pushed his hips into mine and I grabbed his lower back.

"Oh for god sake. Elliot, shut your eyes.", I suddenly heard footsteps and familiar voices, Christian jumped up and put his hands in his pockets. I grabbed a cushion and covered my face, Elliot and Kate were standing there in fits of laughter.

"Good afternoon, brother. Looking wet, as usual.", Elliot laughed at his own joke and I stood up. "Good afternoon, Ana. Good to see you, little more than usual.", I giggled and pushed him. Kate grabbed me and squeezed me hard, I gasped and eventually giggled once I got my breath back.

"Anastasia has news.", I raised my eyebrows and glared at Christian. Fuck repeated in my head over hundred times, Kate spoke and snapped me out of my daze.

"Getting old here, everything ok?", I nodded and forced a smile.

"I got a phone call when I landed, the flat had been sorted. My life in New Jersey has ended, so I'll be moving back here for good.", Elliot was the first one to congratulate me, as I was speaking to him I could feel Christians eyes on me. Kate grabbed me once more and kissed my cheek.

"My best friend is coming back.", She clapped her hands excitedly and was now beaming.

"Tell them the other news.", Christian raised his eyebrows and half smiled, I sighed and looked at both of them and nodded.

"I'm pregnant.", The silence felt like it lasted a decade or like time had frozen.

"No way! Congratulations to the both of you.", Kate grabbed me and Christian at the same time, I shut my eyes tightly as I was hugging her and took a deep breath.

"Congratulations brother, thank you for making me an uncle while I'm still young. Congratulations Ana, you'll make the best mum.", A sudden emotion washed over me and I felt tears streaming down my face, Christian brung his arm around me and kissed my cheek.

"Don't cry!", Kate pleaded.

"I'm so sorry, I just want to be a good mum.", Christian's hold on me was tighter.

"Don't apologise, you'll be the best mum to our children.", Christian said softly, I nodded and he pecked my lips quickly.

"Who's up for a celebration meal?", Elliot asked, Christian glanced over at me and smiled. "Or will you two be preoccupied with other things?", Elliot gave a cheeky smirk before Kate hit him playfully.

"We'd totally understand if you would like to be alone...together.", I giggled and shook my head.

"Meet here at 9?", Kate clapped her hands together once again and hugged me.

"I'm so happy to have you back here. I will not miss Skype at all.", I hugged her tightly and watched Christian play around with Elliot, I hadn't seen him this happy in a while.

"Right, let these two catch up and we will be back here at nine.", We quickly said goodbye and watched the elevator doors close, we were both silent until we looked at one another.

"What is wrong?", Christian asked, I forced a smile and raised my eyebrows.

"Nothing is wrong, why?", I ran my fingertips up and down his forearm, he lifted my chin so my eyes met mine.

"You were very hesitant to tell them about the baby, is everything ok with the baby?", I heavily sighed and stared at the floor.

"You put me on the spot, Christian. I didn't know what to say. I really didn't want them to know yet.", He watched me carefully.

"Anastasia, it's huge news.", I bit my lip and looked at him, in front of me stood a man who I loved. I couldn't hurt him, the truth would destroy everything and him.

"It is huge news. It's still early days with the baby, I wanted to keep it our little secret for a while longer.", He gulped.

"I'm sorry. This is all new to me, Ana. I'm really trying.", I smiled and wrapped my arms around his shoulders, I brought him closer and rested my forehead on his.

"I know you are.", I kissed his lips gently and pulled back.

"Who would have thought it?", He grinned and tightened his grip on my lower back.

"What?", I questioned.

"When you stumbled into my office, who would have thought we would be here now. I'm so lucky I get to share my life with you.", My heart almost dropped, he really did love me.

"I love you."
