Chapter 35
- 18th Birthday.
June's POV.
"Happy birthday honey!" My mother greeted me, when I came downstairs to the kitchen.
"Happy birthday, now you're an old woman," Jonah said. I hugged him.
"Where's dad?" I asked. I looked around, he wasn't in the kitchen. Jonah grinned and tried to hide something.
"Um, you guys are hiding something," I said and lifted my left eyebrow.
"No honey, what are you talking about? Just sit down and eat your pancakes I've made for you," she said and handed me the plate of pancakes. Okay she is defiantly hiding something for me.
When I were done eating my pancakes, my father came crushing through the door, with..a dog. A FREAKING DOG. OMG. How cute is it. I'm freaking dying. Through my 18 years I have always wanted to get a little puppy.
"Happy birthday sweetheart, may I introduce you for your little new puppy," dad said. I ran straight to the little puppy, kind of a little child. Then I kissed my dad on the cheek.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you," I said.
"It's from your mother and me." I kissed my mother too. I looked at the puppy. It was white and really tousled and full of energy. I think I will name it..I will name it, okay I have no idea of what to call it.
"I love it. Hi puppyyyy," I said as I scratched my little new puppy.
"You want my present now?" Jonah asked. He has a present too? I nodded and he took my hand and pulled him to his room.
"Open it," he said and handed me a soft gift. It must be some clothes. I untied the curling ribbon. Then I ripped the paper off and there was the dress I has had been talking about, this weekend. It was knee long and a color between dark blue and dark green. (If you are a Justin Bieber fan, then maybe you can remember the dress from his video 'mistletoe' it's the dress he gives her.)
"OMG thank you Jo!" I said and kissed him all over his face.
"Eww," he whined. Then we left downstairs again.
As soon as I reached the kitchen there was another present on the floor. It was quadratic and big. I looked at my mom and she smiled.
"It's from all of us," she said. I untied the ribbon and the paper fell off. It was a huge 1 by 1 meters picture of mom, dad, Jonah and me. It was pretty good.
"It's just a reminder of the family when we aren't living together anymore," mom said. It made my eyes tear up a bit. I quickly wiped them away as someone knocked on the door.
"It's probably for you dear," my mother smiled. Hmm who could it be? I opened the door.
"Happy birthday princess," he sang. It was Niall. He was standing in his dark brown leather jacket, with a picnic hamper. I stepped forward and kissed him on the lips.
"Ready to go?" He asked me. I looked at my watch.
"Niall it's nearly 11 am, and it cold outside." I chuckled. He searched for something in the hamper. Then he lifted a black thing up.
"I have a blanket," he said and smirked. Cute. How could I say no? He has been planning on this day. I can't just say no. Then I nodded and grabbed my jacket and entwined my fingers with his.
I followed him to his black car, and he opened the door for me. Then he jumped into the driver seat. He turned on the radio, and the song 'Price tag' by Jessi J was playing. We sang along it and soon we reached the forest. Were we going to have our picnic in the forest? I guess so. He jumped out of the car and opened my door, before I could do it by myself. He could really be a gentleman sometimes. He held my hand and we began to walk into the forest. He dragged me to a lake. I realized it was the same lake as we all were sailing in canoes. And both Niall and I fell into the water. And we Got our first kiss.
