Chapter 1

-I'm So Dead.

-June's POV-. (point of view)

"JUNE!"

"JUNE!" Someone was yelling at me. I turned around. Jennifer. Running from her locker and over to me.

"Hey what's wrong?" I asked worried. She was breathing fast.

"You know, One Direction's new movie 'This Is Us', right?" OMG I'm not able to talk about One Direction, I'm not a 'fan'.

"Um, yeah. Why?" I asked a bit annoyed.

"You need to see the movie with me, because Sarah is sick. And her mother would not let her go. I know you're not a fan, but please!" She begged me, and made her big puppy eyes. How could I say no? Oh yeah, I know why. 'He' rejected me!

**JUNE'S FLASHBACK**3 YEARS AGO**

**RING RING**

Crap. I forgot to check on the display who it was.

"Hey it's June" I said in my phone.

"June, I need to talk to you, face to face" a boy said. I could barely hear him.

"I'm sorry, who is this?" I asked. There were silence for some seconds then he answered.

"Just meet me under our tree" now I know who it was. It's Niall. My best friend and my neighbor. When we were younger, we used to play around in our gardens and we made a secret place, under a tree, hidden behind some bushes. Niall has always been older than me. I'm 14 and he's 16. But we didn't care. We've always been best friends.

I walked downstairs and went outside. It was pretty hot, since it was August, so I didn't wear my jacket. Then I walked into Niall's backyard. He was standing under 'our tree'. He looked sad.

"Hi" I said and gave him a hug. He didn't hug me back. Something's wrong.

"Uhm, I talked to Hannah today-" He said sadly. Oh no, this was going to be about his girlfriend. I didn't really like her. But I didn't say anything to Niall, because he was totally in love with her.

"- and I need to give her more attention. I can't see you anymore. Goodbye June" he said. I walked through his house. What was he just saying? He is going to reject me, because he need to give Hannah, more attention.

You're joking right?

"No June I'm not joking, you need to go now" he said. Ups did I just say that out loud?

He walked inside of his house. I was still standing in my so called x-best friends backyard. I felt like I was going to cry. 'No June, you need to hide your emotions. Stay cool. You're still in his backyard.' A voice in my head, probably my mind, said. I ran through my front door. Slammed the door. And sitting on my butt crying with my bag leaned on the front door.

"MOM... June is crying" a little voice yelled. It was my little brother, Jonah. He is only five years old.

"June what's wrong, honey?" My mother, Cindy, asked. I didn't answer, I just ran up to my room.

*STILL FLASHBACK*DAYS AFTER*

It's so awkward to be in school. To see Niall with Hannah making out. I know I'm not supposed to be jealous. I mean not girlfriend-jealous. I want my best friend back. But whatever, he have rejected me, that jerk.

When I got home my mom, dad and Jonah, came into my room.

"Honey, we need to talk to you" mom said.

"We gonna move to England, to Londie" Jonah said. What is Londie? And what did he just say, that we are moving?

"No Jonah, it's spelled 'London' not 'Londie'" dad said. OMG we are moving. It means that I never need to see Niall again. I smiled.

"When are we leaving?" I asked.

"Um, dad is gonna work in London so he's flying tomorrow. And we are moving our furnitures in a month." Mom said. I smiled. I'm so glad that I'm never gonna see that Jerk again, so it could never be awkward anymore.

**END OF FLASHBACK**

"Hey June! So what are you saying to it?" Jennifer asked.

"Um, sorry, what were you saying?" I asked. She looked annoyed.

"Do you wanna go..to the cinema with me, tomorrow?" She asked. Hmm, that sounds fun.

"Of corse!" I yelled. I love new movies. She looked happy.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you-" she jumped and yelled at the same time.

"- its gonna be SO fun, you know that One Direction will be there to sign autographs, so we need to find you a t-Shirt!" She continued. Wait what. Did I just said yes to see a One Direction movie and the one and only One Direction? I can't see him again. Since he had been trying for X-Factor, and he became one of the five One Direction boys. I can't just see him like that. What if he can remember me? I'm so dead. I can't look at him.

"Sorry but I can't see Nia- I mean I can't see the movie with you" I said. I really hope she didn't noticed my fail.

"Of course you can! You can't say no because you aren't a fan. And you have already said yes" she made her puppy eyes again.

"Please" she begged and made her puppy eyes bigger. I'm so dead

"Okay I'll do it!" I yelled. She ran up and kissed me all over my face.

"Thank you, see you tomorrow" she yelled as she ran back to her locker. What am I supposed to do?

*HOURS LATER*

I turned some music on. Ed Sheeran - The A Team. I looked at my phone. I got a new message.

Messages from Jennifer-

- hey look what I found on twitter *picture of Niall's tweet*-

I looked at the tweet. It says "So exited for the premiere for 'This Is Us'. Can't wait to see all our fans. Luv ya. Xx"

I'm so dead.
