Everyones eyes turned to Rick once again, apart from mine. I looked over at Michonne to see she was looking back in my direction. As far as we knew, me and her are one of the only ones who know this man, accept for Rick.

"I think we should leave everything for tonight. We can carry this on some other time. Deanna?" I spoke up trying to diffuse the situation.

I looked down at Deanna and she weakly nodded as she kept her eyes on Reg. For a second everyone stayed where they were looking at the rest of us before they started to slowly leave. The whole time leaving Rick and Morgan staring at each other whilst me and Briana looked over towards Abraham, Jessie and Deanna.

"Abraham could you help us with this?" I asked as he hadn't moved. Petes blood was dotted over the one side of his face. If that was me I don't know what I'd be feeling. Especially now.

"Can we talk?" Rick asked and Morgan nodded. Then the two of them walked out followed by Aaron and Daryl.

Regs blood was covering my hands. All this time I've been blinded by how untouched this place was. I just wanted to believe that this was a new start and a new life for us all. But sooner or later something strikes. I should've known. Either it be from outside or from within. I should've been ready. I wasn't.

I put my thoughts to one side as I helped Briana and Abraham to carefully move Pete and Reg. The whole time making sure Deanna and Jessie were alright and letting them know we were there for them.

Once done Abraham took both bodies towards the graves leaving Deanna, Jessie, me and Briana. "I'll go let Spencer know whats hap-"

"No." Briana interrupted me. "I...I mean I'll do it. You go find Maggie. She needs to know."

"All right." I nodded and glanced over at Deanna. I didn't want to leave her here like this but I know what I need to do. "Are you gonna be alright?

Deanna looked over at me then down to the pool of blood. "Just go." She quivered.

"I'll watch her. We'll be fine." Jessie placed her shaking hand on Deannas shoulder. I nodded not wanting to upset them anymore with the state Deannas in. Her son and her husband taken from her in the matter of a couple of days. As for Pete, I think a part of Jessie is glad he's gone because of what he put her through but another part of her doesn't know how to feel.

I slowly walked out with Briana and we went our separate ways. Briana went towards the gates and I went to find Maggie. I was about to go back to the house when I spotted her walking in the direction of the infirmary.

"Maggie!" I called over.

Maggie stopped and looked in my direction as I jogged over. As I got closer I could see the look on her face and I think she knew what had happened.

"You know what I'm gonna say?" I asked.

Maggie sighed and nodded. "Yeah."

We both hugged each other in the moment. Something should've been done about Pete a long time ago. Maybe this could've all been avoided if it had.

After a couple of minutes we both walked into the infirmary shocked to see Tara sitting up in bed staring back at us. "Tara."

"I'm okay. You just check on them." She pointed over to Glenn and Nicholas.

In all the excitement of seeing her alive and well we hadn't even noticed Glenn and Nicholas over the other side of the room both covered in blood. Maggie ran over as Rosita cleaned Nicholas' wounds. "What happened?" Maggie asked and I handed her a cloth.

"We we're out there. Walkers and...we're alright. Got winged by a ricochet. It's alright." Glenn groaned as Maggie placed the cloth on his shoulder.
