"Are you sure you are going to be okay?" I nodded.

"I'll see you tomorrow, okay?" I got out of the truck and headed to to the door.

"Get some rest." He yelled. I smiled.

"I will." Bad idea to yell back. Very bad idea.

As a coughed he shook his head and walked to the front door. "Yeah, you aren't going to stay all night without proper care."

He opened the door and I glared at him.

"I'm fine. I can take care of myself."

He ignored me and walked inside.

What does he think he is doing?

He went to the medicine cabinet and I sat down at the table and put my head in my hands.

He grabbed a bottle of pills and started boiling water. As he was doing that my eyes started closing.

I heard him humming a tune as he made whatever he was doing.

I didn't know how long it has been but after while I heard a chair being pulled up to the table.
I opened my eyes to see a mug in front of me with a dark, brownish clear liquid.

A pill, a spoon and a bottle of red liquid, was also in front of me.

"What's this?" I asked I could hear the sleepiness in my own voice.

Derek got up and disappeared into the living room. I started at the steamy mug.

He came back in with a blanket. "Take one pill and take a sip. It's tea and honey. It's supposed to help sooth your throat. Then poor some cough syrup onto the spoon and take it." He said wrapping the blanket around my shoulders.

"I can't take cough syrup." I said taking a pill and hesitantly took a sip from the mug.

It wasn't the best tea I have had, but I guess it wasn't supposed to taste great.

"Why's that?" He asked. Pouring the red liquid into the spoon anyways.

"I throw it up. Any liquid medicine."

"Then I guess you'll need to keep it down." He said pushing the spoon towards me.

I shook my head. But he didn't let up.

"Fine. Just because I don't feel good. If I throw up I'll make sure to aim your way." I said taking it fast and downing the tea.

He backed away slowly. After awhile of me sitting there trying to focus on keeping it down, he slowly helped me up.

"Why's it so cold?" I asked shivering. He shook his head leading me to the stairs.

"It's because you are sick." He whispered trying to keep his voice down so we won't wake up Sally.

"No no no." I said putting all my body strength to make him stop.

"What?" He asked looking at me worriedly.

I shivered his blue eyes were so blue.
Agh I'm making myself sick.

He stared at me waiting for me to tell him what was wrong.

We are so close. Are noses were almost touching. I felt like if I tried sleeping I wouldn't. I just wanted to watch a movie. But I also didn't want to be alone.

I looked up at him. I opened my mouth but nothing came out. I was just trapped by his blue eyes.

I finally managed to speak. "If you don't mind I would like to watch a movie." When did I become formal?

He chuckled. He lead me to the brown sofa and sat me down beside him.

He leaned close to my ear. "What movie to you want to watch?"

I shook my head. "I don't mind. What do you want to watch?"

I could feel his breath on my ear and usually I would feel like my little bubble popped. But some reason it was alright.

"Whatever you want... Sweetheart."

I stumbled over my words, "How about a Disney movie?" My voice squeaked.

He laughed again. "That's a fantastic choice."
