Sitting in the kitchen talking to the guys was fun. But my phone kept ringing and beeping, the guys were getting annoyed.

Derek groaned every time the phone made a noise. Jackson kept looking at me questionable. Cole kept going "Oooooh Rose has a boyfriend."

I finally pulled out my phone and hid it under the table so they couldn't see.

1 new voice message. 4 new messages. 2 missed calls.

Who are they from? Him

I looked over the messages. And it's sad to say I missed these texts.

Hey! I know you are probably busy. Just wanted to catch up with you.

Are you avoiding me?

You know what that was a stupid question.

Right?

Always the one to make me smile at stupid texts. All he is doing is asking me to catch up with him and I'm smiling like a goof.

I looked up still with the silly smile.
Jackson and Cole looked at me like I was an alien.

Derek stared at me with a slight frown. "Who is it from?"

I shook my head and went to my voicemails. "No one... Just my ex."

"Oh."

I opened my voicemails hesitating. I put in my password and put my phone to my ear.

"You have one new voice message." A robotic woman's voice spoke loudly.

"Umm, Rose. What's up? I know you probably don't want to hear from me, but here I am... Heh. I just wanted to say, I still love you. To the moon and back, remember? Okay well bye!"

"To the moon and back?" Cole asked.

"You heard that?" I asked blushing from embarrassment.

To the moon and back...

"Yeah. Is that a thing you guys said?"

I nodded. I wanted to text him back. Maybe with a small hello. Or even I'm kinda busy maybe we can speak tonight.
Or.... I remember.

"You still love him?" Jackson had his hands on the table. Derek was still groaning.

I blushed and looked at him. "N-No!"

"Then why are you blushing?" He asked grinning. If he wasn't so attractive I would not be able to handle his áss.

"Because you are asking me if I still love my ex! What do you expect?" He shrugged.

"Let's go to the living room and watch tv. I'm bored." I got up and walked into the living room.

Derek was the only one who came in. He sat next to me on the couch. "What do you want to watch?"

"Does Sally have Netflix?" He nodded. He looked better. Doesn't look sick anymore.

"New girl?" I sled smiling. It's my new favorite tv show. I'm in love with it!

"Yeah. Alright."

Four episodes later Cole and Jackson came in.

"Finally! Thought you guys left or something." Derek gestured for them to sit down.

"We did leave. Cole wanted me to come with him to his house so he could get his stuff. Then I we went to Vince's to feed shadow."

"That explains why you are soaked. Get a towel and dry off."

"Shadow?"

"It's Vince's dog. His baby. He's a black lab. Adorable if I must say so myself."

Cole walked out and came back in with two towels. He tossed one to Jackson.

"Haven't you to heard about umbrellas. They are so magical, that they help you not get this wet." I said looking at the two talk soaked men. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Yeah yeah! We had one." Cole said still dripping.

"What happened to it?"

"Smart ass over here let go of it and it flew away. Like a majestic bird." Jackson said making a floppy gesture and pointed towards Cole.

"Hey! Hey! Language. There is extra clothes in the closet in the office. Be quiet Emily doesn't feel good." Sally said as she peeped into the living room.

"Is she okay? What's wrong? Is she going to be alright? Do we need to go to the doctor? What-"

"Stop asking so many questions. She is alright. Her body is exhausted. Get dressed so you don't catch a cold." She looked at me and shook her head. "Boys."

When they came back they were laughing.

"What's so funny?" Derek asked pausing the show.

"Emily woke up and saw us. But Jackson didn't have a shirt on and her eyes widened. She was like 'Get Out!' So we had to ran out of there as fast as we could." Cole gasped for air he was laughing so hard.

"She did not like seeing my chest." Jackson laughed.

"So we changed and Emily was like 'I do not need to see my brothers friends body! He needs to learn respect." Cole was laughing so hard.

We all laughed.
And we watched the show until I remembered something.

I hate over thinking texts.
