Chapter 39 - Home Visit ?!

....And that night.

I just came home from my part time job , i was planning on going to Kasumi's university to pick her up , but she respectfully declined and request me to go straight home , as always i wait up in the living room for her to come home...

"whew , i'm finally home..."

"Welcome home Kasumi , i hope you had a great day.." 

"Mina ?...i told you not to wait for me , but thanks for waiting..."

"Are you hungry ? I can cook for you, what do you like  to eat ?"

" Uhm...i'll eat anything you cook Mina , i'll leave it to you.."

"Then , i'll prepare something fast so you don't have to wait long.."

"Thank Mina." she smiles wryly..

while making Kasumi , dinner i glance at her..

Lately the time we've been spending together had been greatly reduced..

(If possible ...i want to talk a lot during the times when were together ...but...she's probably tired and i don't want to be a bother..)

...as i worry about these things...

"Ah...that's right Mina...i remember something.."

"hmn ? what is it ?"

"There's something i want to tell you .."

"?something you wan to tell me ?.." (why i'm getting nervous ?)

"Yeah..."

Kasumi takes a breath then gets down to business..

".....Uhmm..actually i'm planning on visiting Papa' tomorrow.."

"Your parents house ?"

"Yeah....since i started this semester , his been asking me to visit.."

"That's great then you should go.."

"Yeah , Papa seems to like you which make me really happy.." she smiled sweetly..

"Wow , that's quite an honor.." ( I wonder if she  will be spending the night there ? how long is she going to stay , is she staying for good ?.)

Kasumi sneaks a glance at me..

".....Uhm..Mina.."

"Hm ?"

"About , tomorrow ...."

"....Uhm.... " she seems fidgety and hesitating..

"......Will you come and stay over at my place ?"

"Huh ?!"

"Mina !! your hand !" 

"Yaouch !" is was then i notice i was holding the hot pan with my bare hands...

Kasumi rushed to my aid holding my slightly burned fingers..

"Are you okay ? , geez you should be really carefull..."

"S-S-Stay.....You mean me ?! At your house ?!"

"Y-yeah...."

Kasumi looks suddenly downcast..

"......W-we haven't been able to spend any time together , right ?" 

"Sure , we went on a date the other day and it was really fun..but when i can't see you i get really lonely Mina..."

(....We-were thinking the same thing...)

"So i thought you might want to visit my house with me , and besides Papa is been asking a lot about you..i'm sure he wants you to come with me.."
