My life just gets worse

~LEW's POV~

I'm just sitting here in the hospital waiting room. I feel so sorry for Austin and what he just got told. He really doesn't deserve any of this.

"Hey Laura I'm finally here! What did they say?" Alex asks coming into the hospital with the rest of Austins crew

"Well you might want to sit down." they all do. "Well the doctor said he has severe dehydration, extreme inflammation, and a blood clot."

"A blood clot?" Alex says

"Yea. so Austins gonna be in the hospital for a week or so. Plus his tour has been cancelled because he wont be singing for a while." I say

"This is awful. Have you sen him?" Tyler asks

"Only when they told me his condition. But he was asleep."

Everyone's speechless

"I have to go now because my management heard about this and what me home with the rest of my friends. so i guess i'll see you guys later." I say

"Bye Laura!" Everyone says

Alex followes me out, "Hey Laura how about i walk you home because Austin probably wont be awake for a while."

"Thanks."

It was a quiet and awkward walk back to my apartment. I really didn't know what to say. Like everything sorta just went from...well i dont know how to put it. Its just changed. We get to my apartment in about 10 minutes. We take the elevator up to the floor my friends said and walk to the room.

"Well Laura were gonna miss you." Alex says

"I'm gonna miss you guys to. You have to keep me updated on how Austins doing every day!"

"Dont worry i will. I know hes going to be fine."

"Me to."

Were both quiet for a inute ti'll Alex breaks the silence

"Umm are you still going to the ball theats coming up?"

"Yea i guess. Austin can't take me any more but i'll still go."

"Well maybe since Austin can't take you i can."

A smile grows on my face. "Really?"

"Yea an amazing girl like you cant go alone."

"Thank you Alex!" I hug him and he hugs back

"I guess i'll see you later. And i'll text when i'm gonna pick you up."

"Ok. Thanks alex bye! Love you!"

He walks off and i open the door to my apartment. It looka alot better than when i last saw it. They cleaned it up alot.

"Guys i'm home and i'm staying!!" Silence. "Hello? Is anyone ho-"

I see reed writing something on the counter. He looks up at me then back down wt the paper.

"They all went out to get rid of Serenity, and their picking up your friend Kristen. They said for you to meet them down at the east side of the mall." He says

"uhh..yea, thanks" i say walking upstairs to my room away from this awkward situation

I put all of my clothes away and grab something else to wear because i've been at an hospital overnight. And to my surprise colder weather is hitting California for the next few days so i grab something warmer to wear.

I walk back downstairs and Reed is in the same spot. i just ignore him and walk out the door. But this thing is starting to kill me. Like maybe he was telling the truth but i'm just scared. I make that sound ridiculous but...uhhh i said ridiculous..just imagine if I...dangit i keep saying names of his songs. I just need to stop talking. Especially to myself. Just stop thinking. Uhhh i need a life.

~Valeries POV~

"When do you think Laura's gonna get here?" Destiny asks

"I dont know. Shes probably off cyberbullying someone." I say

"Probably Reed." Ellee whispers

"ok come on thats not making this situation any better." Austin (Corini) says

"Yea i know but calling Laura a cyberbully is just so much fun!" I say

"oh thanks." And Laura walks into the store were in

"finally your here you took forever!!" Sicily says

"sorry long walk home from the hospital!"

"But know that here you might wanna go ahead and start looking for the dress your gonna wear." Kendra says

"I already have my dress picked out. I did that last week with Austin and Alex."

"Well you know what Laura if your all fine then how about you help all of us." I say

"Well then first you might wanna look at the prom dress section instead of the sundesses."

"We knew that!"
