Chapter Four: The Train Ride Surprise

Colette's Point Of View

I was faced with a wall. A brick wall. A one hundred percent solid, brick wall. No way in, no way out. "And you want me to run ... RUN ... through this?" I asked the twins,

"Yeah!" They said,

"Run .. through a brick wall?"

"Basically."

"Oh." I said and weighed up the chances. Well, I suppose I could just go home now. I mean I'm sure Mrs Figg will have me back. Or I could run a brick wall, possibly break every bone in my body and suffer the up-most humiliation... Let's run at the wall,

"Ok, so you just run at it ... And you'll be fine." George said.

"Promise me that stair dude." I told him,

"Hand on heart." He said and actually did put his hand on his heart,

"If I die, I haunt you. Yes?"

"Yes. Now go!" And I did exactly that. I ran. At a wall. A solid brick wall. God, I'm a prick. But you know what? I didn't hit it. Nope, straight through it. And landed on another platform, "Should've guessed." I mumbled to myself,

"Welcome to Platform Nine and Three Quarters Lottie!" Fred and George said from behind me. I turned around and they were grinning at me. I smiled and squealed a little,

"Oh my god, I'm so excited now!" I shouted whilst clapping my hands,

"We know!" Fred said,

"Cool it though Lottie! Don't want you to over-load so soon!" George said but I completely ignored him. We walked around the platform for a few minutes trying to find everyone else and once we did, I'd finally meet this great Hermione. Mrs Weasley called us over and we went running. Stood between Harry and Ron was a girl with bushy brown hair and matching colours eyes. When she saw us, she came running up to me with a huge grin on her face,

"Are you Colette?" She asked me, excitement showing in her voice. I nodded my head and smiled at her. She seemed nice,

"Brilliant! I'm Hermione Granger. You're the one who lives across from Harry right?" She asked all in one breath,

"Yes. Yes I am. You're the brainy one?" I asked and she nodded quickly,

"Oh, I've heard so much about you! I know we're going to get along so well. Now, tell me, which house do you plan on being in?" She asked dragging me away from the twins. I turned around and gave them a look. They just smiled and waved at me as Hermione dragged me off somewhere, chatting about Hogwarts and some person who can't be named and a diary and a big snake. She took me onto the train and we sat down in one of the compartments. She was telling me absolutely everything about everything. If I'd recorded this and kept playing it, I'd probably know everything by Christmas, "And then there was this huge dog with three heads! Hagrid said it was called Fluffy and--"

"Hermione! There you are! Mum wants to give you a hug." Ron said from the compartment door. Hermione shot off out of the door like a rocket and Ron sat opposite me, "I'd go as well if I were you." He said. So as I walked out, Harry and the twins walked in rubbing their arms and looking out of breath. I laughed and they all glared at me,
